    Abstract: A polyester resin, polyester-imide resin or polyester-amide-imide resin dissolved in one or more carboxylic acid esters of the formula: R.sub.1 OOCR.sub.2 COOR.sub.3, wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 are independently a lower alkyl group; and R.sub.2 is a bivalent organic group, gives electrical insulating coating compositions having a high resin content and excellent various properties and being easily handled without having irritating smell.
