Abstract: A composite which is obtainable by mixing calcium pantothenate with a per se neutral or basic magnesium or calcium lactate or carbonate in the presence of water and/or a lower alcohol, and drying the resulting mixture, is stable with little decrease of the content of calcium pantothenate during storage.When other drugs, which may cause changes as the result of combination with calcium pantothenate, are combined to produce various preparations, the composite is stable because they are hardly affected by other ingredients and hardly affect other ingredients; for example, in production of tablets, powders, granules, and capsules, complicated processes to separate from other ingredients are not required, and the excessive amount in anticipation of the loss along with time can be reduced markedly.

Abstract: This invention relates to granulation products of calcium ascorbate containing a solid organic acid in an amount to make the pH of an aqueous solution of 10 g of the granulation product in 100 ml of water within the range of 5.5 to 7.0. This granulation product is prevented from being colored.The stable granulation product of calcium ascorbate is useful for medicines, food, and in the livestock industry (as fodder), etc.

Abstract: Rapidly-disintegratable active-component-containing foamable compositions can be obtained by mixing an active component (Component-C) into a solid alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt of carbonic acid (Component-A) and/or a solid aliphatic carboxylic acid (Component-B), and then mixing component-A and Component-B together after being moisturized separately with approx. 0.5-5% (w/w) water.
