  • Patent number: 11969507
Abstract: An apparatus and corresponding process can be used for producing nanocarriers and or nanoformulations and corresponding process products. The apparatus is characterized by a vertical orientation of the feed conduits leading to active element. The feed conduits are nested within one another and are axially movable in terms of their orientation to one another. The process provides for the mixing of at least two liquid phases with different acidities. The volume flow of the first phase is greater than that of the second phase.

  • Patent number: 8221435
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for fixation to a patient during neurological diagnosis, therapy or surgery, in particular during MRI diagnosis. The device comprises at least one fixation pin being made of a non-magnetic, electrically conductive material for fixation to a patient, and at least one pin support member for supporting said fixation pin. An insulation means is arranged so as to restrict the electrical coupling between said pin support member and fixation pin. Said insulation means is sleeve shaped and arranged to at least partly surround said fixation pin. The invention also relates to an insulation means, a pin support member and to a method for assembling a fixation device.

  • Patent number: 6763588
Abstract: A method of providing with precision a number of long and narrow through holes (11) in a body (1) made of a high-density material. The body (1) is made in the form of a number of partial bodies (2, 2′, 2″), which are arranged close to each other and from the body (1). Each partial body (2, 2′, 2″) is defined by an outer surface (5), which is part of the outer surface of the entire body (1), an inner surface (6), which is part of the inner surface of the entire body (1), as well as a pair of boundary surfaces (7, 8), which extend from the outer surface (5) to the inner surface (6). Holes (11) are produced by machining at least one of the bounding surfaces (7, 8) adjacent partial bodies (2′, 2″). Each hole (11) extends from the outer surface (5) to the inner surface (6) along said at least one boundary surface (7, 8). The thus machined partial bodies (2, 2′, 2″) are fixedly attached to each other.

  • Patent number: 6712508
Abstract: A device is provided for recording in at least two planes radiation from a radiotherapy apparatus. The device comprises a dimensionally stable frame which is adapted to be arranged in a defined position relative to the radiotherapy apparatus, an attachment on the frame for a recording means, and a recording means which extends from the attachment at an acute angle to the frame along an axis of rotation and to the center of the frame. The recording means is adapted to assume at least two defined rotational positions on the axis. In addition, the recording means exhibits a surface for supporting a radiation recording unit, which surface is located in a plane that forms an acute angle with the axis of rotation, the plane of the surface when rotating the recording means being adapted to turn on a single pivot point which is fixed relative to the frame.

  • Publication number: 20030004503
Abstract: A device for recording in at least two planes radiation from a radiotherapy apparatus in a limited area at which the radiation is directed. The device comprises a dimensionally stable frame (1) which is adapted to be arranged in a defined position relative to said radiotherapy apparatus, an attachment (4) on the frame (1) for a recording means, and a recording means (5) which extends from the attachment (4) at an acute angle to the frame (1) along an axis of rotation (6) and to the center of the frame (1). The recording means (5) is adapted to assume at least two defined rotational positions on said axis (5). In addition, the recording means (5) exhibits a surface (14) for supporting a radiation recording unit (13), which surface (14) is located in a plane (9) that forms an acute angle with the axis of rotation (6), the plane (9) of the surface (14) when rotating the recording means (5) being adapted to turn on a single pivot point (7) which is fixed relative to the frame (1).

  • Patent number: 4956305
Abstract: The invention relates to a pnp lateral transistor comprised of two regions of p-type conductivity which are incorporated into the surface of a semiconductor area of n-type conductivity and constitute the emitter and collector regions. The portion of the semiconductor area of n-type conductivity located between these two regions constitutes the active base region. The invention is based on the fact that the active base region includes below the semiconductor surface and adjacent to the emitter region and to the collector region; a buried semiconductor region containing additionally counter-doping impurities relative to the remaining surrounding base region area, which buried region produces a conductive channel for the minority charge carriers in the base region. This substantially reduces the parasitic surface recombination and substrate transistor influences, and achieves a very high direct current gain in the lateral transistor.
