Abstract: A connection element (20) is disclosed for connecting a hydraulic pipe to brake pliers, a brake cylinder, a slave cylinder and/or a master cylinder for a hydraulic brake and/or hydraulic clutch, in particular for motorcycles and/or bicycles. The connection element (20) has a fastening section (20A) for fastening the hydraulic pipe to the connection element (20), and a connection section (20B) for connecting the connection element (20) to the element of the hydraulic system. The connection section (20) has a ring-shaped zone (24) and at least one extension that extends away from the ring-shaped zone (24), substantially to the side of the ring plane. Also disclosed are brake pliers (30) for a hydraulic brake, in particular for motorcycles and/or bicycles, having a housing (31) in which a disk chamber for receiving a disk brake and at least one brake cylinder for receiving a brake piston (43) are formed.

Abstract: A hydraulic brake system for two-wheel vehicles, especially bicycles, is provided. The system has a filling device, and a dispensing system filled with hydraulic fluid and a brake mechanism hydraulically connected to the dispensing system. The dispensing system also has an equalizing reservoir and a filling and bleeding opening. A bleeding and filling tool with a piston/cylinder arrangement is also provided that is used with the brake system. At least the filling and bleeding opening of the dispensing system is detachably coupleable with the bleeding and filling tool. The bleeding and filling tool is preferably a standard syringe.

The system has a dispensing system filled with hydraulic fluid and a brake mechanism hydraulically connected to the dispensing system. The dispensing system has an equalizing reservoir and a filling and bleeding opening. The filling and bleeding opening has an insertion section arranged in a cover of the equalizing reservoir for tight holding of a bleeding and filling tool, which connects in the insertion direction to a connection chamber in the dispenser housing, which has a side boundary wall to the equalizing reservoir, and that at least one overflow opening that is open at the edge to the equalizing reservoir is provided in the boundary wall.
