  • Publication number: 20220047749
Abstract: A food processing and/or packaging device comprises at least one food chamber. Via a conduit system, the at least one food chamber is connected to a vacuum pump for generating vacuum in the at least one food chamber. For sterilizing the conduit system and/or the food chamber, a sterilization device is provided. The sterilization device comprises e.g. spray nozzles for introducing cleaning liquid into the conduit system. The cleaning liquid is separated by a liquid separator arranged upstream of the vacuum pump in flow direction.

  • Patent number: 6976834
Abstract: A pelletizing die includes a pelletizing die member with a die exit side exposed to cooling fluid and a die entry side for receiving polymer fed thereto. The die member has a plurality of polymer channels and a plurality of extrusion orifices connected to a respective one of the channels to form a extrusion orifice section. A heating medium system has additional heating medium conduits between channels and a supply and intermediate header for heating the channels (radially from each side) and providing once in and once out heating medium flow. The die member may be formed by high temperature brazing of components using coordinated solder (Ni based or gold-nickel) and component heat treatment temperature. A thin hard face coating may be provided on raised extrusion orifice ring faces around each extrusion orifice section.

  • Patent number: 6388225
Abstract: A plasma torch with a microwave transmitter which, for example, is used to coat surfaces and to produce radicals. The plasma torch exhibits a minimal energy loss during the transmission of microwaves to the produced plasma flame. The plasma torch includes a waveguide for transmitted microwaves and has a coaxial conductor. An electrode is provided with a duct, and a nozzle provided on the other end of the duct, the end facing away from the waveguide, are arranged in the coaxial conductor in an essentially axial manner. The plasma flame is produced at the nozzle. A coupling element is arranged between the waveguide and the coaxial conductor. The electrode is connected to the coupling element via a mounting plate and an electrically insulating intermediate element in a gas tight, thermally insulated manner such that microwaves are permitted to pass through.
