Patent number: 6077094Abstract: A plug connector having a main body, which has at least one connecting unit including an opening delimited at the side of an elongated transversely elastic gripping rib. The opening constitutes a plug socket, into which a plug element may be inserted and acted upon by the gripping rib. The gripping rib has a concave shaped longitudinal edge portion facing away from the plug socket such that the width of the gripper rib increases toward the two ends of the rib.Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 1998Date of Patent: June 20, 2000Assignee: Festo AG & Co.Inventors: Jurgen Bock, Peter Ruhle, Jochen Franz, Walter Suchy

Patent number: 5179587Abstract: A telecommunications system operable to connect terminal devices for exchange of data has control devices (ST, GST), an accessory control device (HS), and a memory (SP). The control devices effect addressed connections via hierarchical coupling fields (KF) to which terminal devices (T, PC, VP) and/or transmission lines (VL) are coupled, each by two user channels and one signalling channel. Routine transmissions to and from a telephone apparatus (T), computer (PC) or the like are effected by connection addressing codes transmitted on the signalling channel. For special functions or transmissions, a unique code is inserted in the signalling data, which causes the control device (GST, ST) to pass the signalling data to the accessory control device (HS). The accessory control device replaces the unique code with a connection addressing code if the terminal is authorized, and returns the signalling information to the control device, where it effects the desired connection.Type: GrantFiled: April 10, 1990Date of Patent: January 12, 1993Assignee: Telenorma GmbHInventors: Hans-Jurgen Bock, Herbert Dobold

Patent number: 4673067Abstract: An adjustable shock absorber for motor vehicles comprises a cylinder containing damping fluid, a piston rod arranged to be axially displaceable in the cylinder, and a damping piston secured to the inner end of the piston rod. The damping piston divides the cylinder chamber into two working chamber compartments and is provided with fluid flow passages which produce damping forces, the effective cross-section of these flow passages being controllable by a throttling member and an electromagnetic drive controlling the throttling member, with the electromagnetic drive including a coil winding which is mounted in the damping piston. In order to achieve improved control of the damping force the throttling member is under the influence on the one hand of the fluid pressure difference between the two working chamber compartments and on the other hand of a restoring force which is created by the electromagnetic drive.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 1986Date of Patent: June 16, 1987Assignee: August Bilstein GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Hans Munning, Jurgen Bock, Bernd Oldach, Josef Ladic, Max-Otto Rauert, Hugo Emde, Dietrich Petzsch, Johannes J. de Baan

Patent number: 4055311Abstract: A device for winding up yarns on bobbins is described. The empty bobbins are driven by means of a friction roll via their surface, that is, via the winding with proceeding windup operation. The yarn is traversed over the complete length of the winding on the bobbin by means of a traversing device, and it has been observed that the winding is thicker at the points of reverse travel of the traversing device than in the central section of the winding, and that the yarn sections at these points of reverse travel are subjected to a heavy mechanical strain by the friction roll. This strain is avoided by decreasing the diameter of the empty bobbin relative to the center of the empty bobbin in the vicinity of reverse travel of the traversing device.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 1975Date of Patent: October 25, 1977Assignee: Hoechst AktiengesellschaftInventors: Jurgen Bock, Hans-Jurgen Strutz
