  • Patent number: 9842478
Abstract: A smoke and/or fire detector for the detection and distance measurement of smoke (36) in a monitored zone (2), having a light transmitter (4) for transmitting a transmitted light signal (8), having a light receiver (6) for generating a received light signal (10) from the transmitted light signal (8) remitted or reflected in the monitored zone (2), and having an evaluation unit (12) for evaluating the time of flight of the received light signal (10), wherein the evaluation unit (12) has a transient recorder (14) and wherein the transient recorder (4) is configured to record multiple received light signals (10) of a single transmitted light signal (8) successively following in time in a time period and the evaluation unit (12) is configured to evaluate the received slight signals (10).

  • Patent number: 9658154
Abstract: A spectrometer has an entry aperture for coupling in electromagnetic radiation to be spectroscope, a refractive or diffractive optical element arranged such that electromagnetic radiation which is coupled in through the entry aperture is incident on the refractive or diffractive optical element to be spectrally split there, and at least two individual detectors which, for the detection of different spectral ranges of the split electromagnetic radiation, are arranged next to one another in the direction of the spectral splitting of the electromagnetic radiation. Electromagnetic radiation from a predetermined ultraviolet wavelength range is directed onto one of the individual detectors by the optical element and electromagnetic radiation from a predetermined blue wavelength range is directed onto another of the detectors by the optical element.

  • Patent number: 9494564
Abstract: A tunnel monitoring sensor for monitoring environmental conditions in a tunnel comprises a first sensor module which outputs an obscuration signal, a second sensor module which outputs a first gas concentration signal, a common housing for the first and second sensor modules and an electronic logic unit which is preferably accommodated in the housing, which receives the obscuration signal and the gas concentration signal and which outputs a combined environmental condition signal on the basis of a link of the obscuration signal and of the gas concentration signal.
