  • Publication number: 20070062734
Abstract: Plug connections used to connect at least two modules of a motor vehicle cockpit to a main cable harness each comprise a first plug element and a second plug element which is designed as a suitable mating piece for the first plug element. Each of the first plug elements is electrically connected to the main cable harness and each of the second plug elements is electrically connected to a module cable harness which is part of one of the at least two modules. In order to simplify mounting of the modules, the plug connections are of identical design and are formed in a self-finding manner. The first plug element is in each case mechanically connected to the body of the motor vehicle and is arranged in an end region of the body, and the second plug element is mechanically fixed to an outer face, which is directed toward the end region of the body, of the respective module.

  • Publication number: 20060249973
Abstract: The invention relates to a display unit (1) having a display panel (2) which displays information from an electronic appliance in a vehicle and which is arranged between a first and a second viewer and whose display panel (2) can be oriented either to the first or to the second viewer. In line with the invention, the display unit (1) is provided with a swivel device (4, 12) for automatic orientation. The swivel device (4, 12) is in turn connected to a user identification device which identifies whether the first or the second viewer is currently using the electronic appliance. The swivel device (4, 12) orients the display panel (2) automatically to the viewer identified as the user.

  • Patent number: 6726557
Abstract: A vehicle (1) having a sound-radiating element (10) for emitting sound waves into a passenger compartment (2) and having an air duct (6) for the air conditioning of the passenger compartment (2), the air duct (6) having an air duct inner wall (7) facing the passenger compartment (2). To reduce the installation space for the sound-radiating element and to simplify the assembly, the sound-radiating element (10) has the air duct inner wall (7) and an oscillation exciter (9) arranged on the air duct inner wall (7), for exciting oscillation of the air duct inner wall (7).

  • Publication number: 20030108210
Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle (1) having a loudspeaker (9) for emitting sound waves (10, 11) into a passenger compartment (2) and having an air duct (7) for the air conditioning of the passenger compartment (2), the air duct (7) having an air duct opening (6) which faces the passenger compartment (2). In order to reduce the installation space for the loudspeaker (9), the invention proposes that the loudspeaker (9) is arranged in the air duct (7) in such a manner that the sound waves (10, 11) can be emitted through the air duct opening (6) into the passenger compartment (2).
