  • Publication number: 20240170757
Abstract: A battery pack has a closed housing with an inner receiving space for several battery cells. The housing has a general basic shape with first and second side walls. The side walls of the housing are made of a heat-conducting material. The inner surfaces of the side walls limit the receiving space. In order to create a thermally balanced battery pack, a cell assembly including several battery cells is accommodated in the receiving space. A battery cell has flat sides and edge sides. The battery cells lie with their flat sides stacked next to each other such that there are outer battery cells and inner battery cells. The outer battery cells rest with their flat sides in a flat and heat-transferring manner against the inner surfaces of the first side walls of the housing, and the inner battery cells are heat-transferring to the outer battery cells of the cell assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220255155
Abstract: A battery pack for exchangeable insertion into a receiving compartment delimited by an inner wall has a housing accommodating battery cells. The housing has a basic shape with an upright side and first and second end walls opposite each other. The upright side extends in upright direction of the housing between the first and second end walls. The upright side has an outer surface and longitudinal ribs arranged thereon and extending in upright direction. The longitudinal ribs have a height measured in upright direction and are positioned at a distance from each other. The distance is measured transversely to the upright direction. The longitudinal ribs delimit together with the outer surface of the upright side a cooling groove extending in upright direction. The longitudinal ribs are designed along the height such that the cooling groove can delimit, together with the inner wall, a cooling channel extending in upright direction.

  • Patent number: 9090463
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for recovering a first gas product (13) consisting essentially of hydrogen and a second gas product (12) containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide, wherein a synthesis gas (4) generated by partial oxidation (POX) from a production substance (3) containing a coal and/or heavy oil is transformed by conversion (S) and subsequent drying and the removal of acid gases (A) into a hydrogen-rich gas mixture (6), which in turn is decomposed into a hydrogen fraction (7) of product purity and a residue gas (8) containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide. According to the invention, at least a part (10) of the residue gas (8) containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide is used to recover the second gas product (12).

  • Patent number: 6719834
Abstract: The invention relates to a single-component or multiple-component polyelectrolyte cement containing at least two reaction partners: (a) at least one metal-cation-releasing compound and (b) one or more polyelectrolytes capable of being converted into a solid state, wherein at least one of the polyelectrolytes is at least partially water soluble, and wherein at least a part of the reaction partner (a) and/or (b) is coated with an organic surface-coating agent. In one preferred embodiment, at least one part of the formulation constituents of the cement is present in granulated form, wherein at least a part of the reaction partner (b) serves as an essential granulation agent. The polyelectrolyte cement is particularly stable in storage and can be easily mixed.
