  • Patent number: 9265131
Abstract: The invention relates to an intelligent lighting device with multiple luminaires, which are at least partially coupled to each other with a wireless communication device. For this purpose, the luminaires preferably have communication modules with transmitter/receiver devices, via which the luminaires can communicate with each other. It is thereby provided that in accordance with the current operating mode of one of the luminaires at least one of the other luminaires can adopt a different predefined operating mode. Said luminaire can, for example upon the switching on of a luminaire or when one of the luminaires detects a person by means of a sensor device in the area of the luminaire, go into a working level with a predefined light intensity and the other luminaires located in the vicinity of said one luminaire go into a background illumination, i.e. in an illumination with a lower illumination level (background level).

  • Patent number: 9243499
Abstract: A gas turbine rotor for a gas turbine is provided. The gas turbine rotor includes a compressor rotor shaft, a turbine rotor shaft and a coupling device frictionally connecting the two rotor shafts, wherein the coupling device is designed in such a way that the friction connection also exists when the two rotor shafts are displaced relative to one another. In this case, the turbine rotor shaft is lengthened at the end facing the compressor rotor shaft in such a way that the turbine rotor shaft overlaps with the compressor rotor shaft in the axial direction and the coupling device connects this lengthened end of the turbine shaft to the compressor rotor shaft in the radial direction.

  • Patent number: 9188023
Abstract: An oil supply system for a stationary turbomachine is provided. A safe operation of the turbomachine is enabled even at ambient temperatures of up to 60° C. for a plurality of hours in a novel connection arrangement of the components of the oil supply system, such as the oil tank, pump a, and heat exchanger, as well as the pipeline system, without one of the components having to be designed for a further increased operating temperature. The oil tank has two regions stacked horizontally one above the other for storing the oil. The two regions are largely or completely separated from each other by a separating element.

  • Patent number: 6634224
Abstract: In the method for the determination of the pressure (p) in and/or of the through-flow (Q) of a liquid through a pump having at least one magnetic bearing for the axial journaling of the pump rotor (1), axial forces act on the rotor (1) of the pump during operation. The axial forces which act on the rotor are utilised for the determination of the pressure (p) and/or of the through-flow (Q).

  • Patent number: 4132825
Abstract: A composite structural member is constructed to take up dynamic loads. A force transmitting element is glued to a force applying element and to a force take-up element to form the composite member. The force transmitting element is a molded blank of cellular polyurethane having an open cell structure throughout. The open cells also extend along the surfaces glued to the force applying element and to the force take-up element. The glue or adhesive used is a moisture curing polyurethane prepolymer capable of penetrating into said open cell structure, thereby greatly increasing the adhesive bond.

  • Patent number: 4024303
Abstract: A structural part made of titanium and/or titanium alloy is given a surface treatment by sandblasting or chemical pickling and is provided with a protective film of a strong reducing agent such as a solution of a derivative of hydrazine or hydroxylamine which is applied directly over the titanium and immediately thereafter a slide layer of a nickel is applied over the reducing agent layer preferably by spraying. Complex derivatives of hydrazine and hydroxylamine in the form of salts may be applied during a pickling and descaling treatment. The adhesion of the wear-resistant layer of metal is improved by a refining at a temperature of about 300.degree. C to obtain an intermetallic bond between the titanium and nickel at the interfacial boundary.
