  • Patent number: 7585467
Abstract: Pipette tip made from plastics with an elongate, tubular body which comprises at a lower end a pipetting aperture, at an upper end a placement aperture (6) for placement on a receiving shank of a pipetting device, in the vicinity of the upper end a circumferential rib along a closed curve comprising different spacings from the lower end in different contour positions, a circumferential contact region on a surface of revolution on the inner face of the circumferential rib and at least one further rib extended from at least one position of the circumferential rib at a maximum distance from the lower end as far as the upper end.

  • Publication number: 20070128080
Abstract: Lidded vessel made from resilient plastics for laboratory use with a tubular vessel which has a vessel base at one end, a vessel opening at the other end, a retaining region on the inner wall of the vessel and an insertion region between the vessel opening and the retaining region, a lid which has a lid base and a stopper on one side of the lid base and which may be inserted through the vessel opening into a sealing position in the vessel, in which a sealing region of the stopper is placed on a sealing seat on the inner wall of the vessel, and a sliding ring and a retaining ring on the periphery of the stopper, the sliding ring having a lower coefficient of sliding friction relative to the insertion region than the retaining ring has relative to the retaining region and, when mounted, slides over the insertion region and is placed in the sealed position of the retaining ring on the retaining region.

  • Publication number: 20060120927
Abstract: A microtitration plate, comprising: a frame which is made of at least one laser-inscribable plastic completely or in at least one area, and a multiplicity of receptacles arranged in the frame and having an opening on one side of the frame which are made of a plastic other than the laser-inscribable plastic.

  • Patent number: 6917035
Abstract: A covering for apertures of reaction receptacles formed in a microtitration plate, including a hermetic, elastically deforming mat or foil, a frame, and connecting elements. The mat or foil, upon planar deposition on the microtitration plate and following compression, seals the apertures. The connecting elements are fitted onto at least one of the mat or foil and frame and detachably secure the mat or foil to the frame while creating a tension in the mat or foil implementing the connection. The frame (11, 110) is dimensioned so as to permit the frame to be deposited on the microtitration plate (13), such that the mat (12, 120) or foil rests in a planar manner on the microtitration plate, and such that the frame is accessible from above to a pressure and/or heat applying device.

  • Patent number: 6783025
Abstract: A lid type vessel of an elastic plastic material for laboratory use, specifically in the PCR procedure, comprising a tubular vessel which has a vessel bottom at one end and a vessel opening at the other end, a lid which has a lid bottom and has at least one hollow cylinder on one side of the lid bottom, which is adapted to be inserted into a sealing seat at the vessel inner wall through the vessel opening, and/or which is adapted to be placed onto the end of the vessel having the vessel opening and in a sealing seat on the vessel outer wall in the area of the axial portion, and at least one axial portion of the hollow cylinder or vessel in the area of the sealing seat by means of which the hollow cylinder or vessel is alternately subdivided into harder and softer segments in a circumferential direction.
