  • Patent number: 10687654
Abstract: A method for operating an automatic beverage dispenser, such as a coffee machine provided with a control panel by using a mobile device with a communication unit. A communication link is automatically established between the beverage dispenser and the mobile device. A data set representing a user personalized recipe is transmitted from the mobile device to the coffee machine which temporarily stores the dataset. The personalized recipe is displayed as a selection option on the control panel of the beverage dispenser. Preparation of the beverage is triggered by selecting the desired personalized recipe in response to which a personalized beverage is dispensed by the beverage dispenser.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 31, 2017
Date of Patent: June 23, 2020
Assignee: MELITTA PROFESSIONAL COFFEE SOLUTIONS GMBH & CO. KG

  • Patent number: 8430072
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling valve displacement of an internal combustion engine comprises a rocker arm having a first arm portion and a second arm portion, said rocker arm being pivotable about a pivot interposed between said first and second arm portions. The apparatus further comprises an actuation arrangement adapted to actuate said first arm portion of said rocker arm and a valve arrangement adapted to be actuated by said second arm portion of said rocker arm. A damper arrangement is pivotably connected to said first arm portion and adapted for damping movement of said rocker arm around said pivot.

  • Publication number: 20130087634
Abstract: A ceramic nozzle hood used in a fuel injection nozzle system. The ceramic nozzle hood comprises a first member contact face on the inner surface extending essentially in a radial direction with respect to the longitudinal axis and a collar. The collar comprises a second member contact face, which faces away from the injection side, and a mount contact face, which faces towards the injection side. The inner chamber of the ceramic nozzle hood comprises a blind hole section fluidly connected to a remaining section of the inner chamber along the longitudinal axis through the first member contact face and to an outside of the ceramic nozzle hood via a plurality of nozzle spray holes.

  • Publication number: 20060102152
Abstract: An internal combustion engine is provided that includes a high pressure feed line, and a plurality of fuel injectors fluidly connected to the high pressure feed line, each being operable to inject a fuel into the engine. The engine further includes an electronically controlled flow disabler disposed between the high pressure feed line and each one of the fuel injectors. Each of the flow disablers includes an actuator operable to move a valve member toward a closed position at which the flow disabler blocks a fuel flow to the respective fuel injector.
