Geometrical features, which have been detected and/or identified within a data analysis processing performed on the basis of workpiece data including a 3D workpiece model, each detected and/or identified geometrical feature being associated with a respective predetermined machining operation, are associated with a respective machine control cycle which is associated with a respective predetermined machining operation with which the respective associated geometry feature is producible.

Abstract: A drive device having an electric motor with a device for field oriented control of the electric motor and a method for operation thereof is disclosed. An error monitoring of a transducer on the electric motor is achieved by a comparator device for comparing a transducer signal of the transducer on the electric motor with a calculated parameter of the field oriented control, the comparator device recognizing a transducer error and/or a coupling error. The coupling error relates to a coupling for mounting the transducer on the electric motor.

By limitation of a base element of a machine therewith, the above is hence positionally moved along a base track. The control device further determines a corresponding current supplementary end position in space using the base position set value. The control device also determines a supplementary position set value from a given fixed supplementary start position in space and the current supplementary end position. By limitation of a supplementary element of the machine thereto, the above is thus displaced along an current supplementary track from the supplementary start position, to the current supplementary end position.

Abstract: In a machine with a supervisory unit and several drives, contour discrepancies can be eliminated and synchronization simplified by using a line which is commonly employed for actuating a drive, e.g. the Enable line, also for synchronously sending a clock pulse to the various coordinated drives operating as “slaves”. The clock pulse representing the synchronization signal has a predetermined duration which is shorter than pulses typically used to deactivate a drive. The drives are designed to distinguish between these two types of pulses and only interpret a pulse of longer duration where the Drive Enable signal is switched off for a longer time, as indicating removal of the Drive Enable, i.e. deactivation of the drive.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system for the execution of at least one release license software program which is used to control and/or regulate a tool machine, and/or a production machine and/or a manual automatic machine, wherein the release of the release license software program can be obtained by means of a license key. A license key handler is provided for the release thereof. The invention also relates to a corresponding method. If the system comprises various release license software programs the handling of the release and/or licensing can be correspondingly expensive and complicated. A license key handler manager enables said process to be simplified. Said license key handler manager can be technically connected to at least one and/or two or several license key handlers.

Abstract: In a conventional sheet-fed printing machine having a central drive, the dynamic positional deviation with respect to a setpoint value continually increases from printing unit to printing unit due to the elasticity (a vibratory multi-mass system). Thus, the precision is dependent on the number of printing units. A mechanical interconnection of the individual cylinders of the sheet-fed printing machine is partially removed and replaced by individual drives is, therefore, provided. In the multiple motor open-loop drive control described, the fault does not increase because in each printing unit, the torque is supplied separately, and all drives are closed-loop controlled using the same reference variable.

Abstract: After an emergency braking operation is released in the case of a numerically controlled machine, the path calculated by the interpolator continues to be traveled, so that braking takes place on this path in the interpolation clock cycle. To determine the braking-interpolation points (P.sub.iB), a factor k is defined for each axle, which factor fulfills the condition of at least one axle being decelerated by a maximum amount and the remaining axles being decelerated more slowly.

Abstract: A one-dimensional, actual-value-specific path parameter F.sub.I (t) is derived from a motional function F.sub.B (t) to trigger switching functions related to position during the movement along a trajectory path of a numerically controlled system, for example a robot or a machine tool. This allows triggering of a switching operation such as switching on a welding or bonding tool with high precision at the actual position of the tool.
