  • Patent number: 11597021
Abstract: A hobbing machine is disclosed having a workpiece spindle, by means of which a workpiece can be rotated about a workpiece axis, a hobbing head, at least one chamfering device, a first slide with a first slide guide system, wherein the hobbing head is arranged on the first slide, and a rail system. The first slide, by means of its first slide guide system, is arranged in a displaceable manner on the rail system. The hobbing machine also has a second slide with a second slide guide system. The at least one chamfering device is arranged on the second slide. Also, the second slide, by means of its second slide guide system, is arranged in a displaceable manner on the rail system, such that the first slide and the second slide can be displaced on an identical portion of the rail system. Presented is a structurally simple hobbing machine by means of which a workpiece can be hobbed and chamfered in a short period of time.

  • Patent number: 10226830
Abstract: A method for skiving machining a toothed workpiece includes the steps of: providing the toothed workpiece rotatable about a workpiece axis; providing a toothed tool rotatable about a tool axis; tilting the tool axis through an azimuth angle ?>0° with respect to an x direction; tilting the tool axis furthermore through a polar angle ?<90 ° with respect to a z direction; rotating the toothed tool about the tool axis, the toothed tool in a contact zone sliding over the toothed workpiece rotating about the workpiece axis. The workpiece axis defines the x direction and the perpendicular of the contact zone to the workpiece axis defines a z direction. The x direction, a y direction and the z direction form a Cartesian coordinate system. This method can easily produce a chamber on the toothed workpiece with the toothed tool which is subject to fewer geometric restrictions.

  • Publication number: 20180029161
Abstract: A method for the vacuum laser welding of an at least two-part workpiece includes a workpiece or a workpiece carrier, on which the workpiece is arranged, and a welding mask which are moved relatively toward one another and pressed against one another so that a welding chamber is enclosed and sealed in a gas-tight manner. The welding mask is rotatably mounted. The welding chamber is evacuated and an annular connecting region between at least two workpiece parts of the workpiece that is exposed to the vacuum in the welding chamber is welded by a laser beam. The workpiece or the workpiece carrier together with the workpiece and the welding mask are turned in relation to the welding mask holder. Air is admitted to the welding chamber and the workpiece or the workpiece carrier on which the workpiece is arranged and the welding mask are moved relatively away from one another.

  • Patent number: 5588795
Abstract: A handling apparatus can be used with particular advantage as a pallet moving apparatus, and includes a machine frame with an extension arm, movable in the vertical direction and in the horizontal direction, on which is provided an engaging element for receiving a gripping device. The extension arm has a first rocker element that is mounted on the machine frame and is driven rotatably about a horizontal rotation axis, and at its free end a second rocker element is arranged rotatably and is positively coupled to the first rocker element via a linkage in such a way that when the first rocker element rotates, the engaging element describes a locus curve with largely linear horizontal and vertical sections. Preferably the two rocker elements are positively coupled in such a way that an imaginary rotation of the first rocker element through 360 degrees results in a substantially square locus curve in a vertical plane.
