Abstract: An adjustment device for a deflection fitting of a vehicle safety belt system comprises a rail adapted to be mounted in the vehicle and a slidable carriage which is movable in the rail. The carriage is provided with a detent device for selectively blocking the carriage on the rail. The carriage further comprises a control surface and a locking roller movable on the control surface. The locking roller is moved from a normal release position to a locking position in response to a sudden displacement of the carriage in a downward direction to lock the carriage on the rail.

Abstract: A belt height adjuster for a vehicle safety belt system comprises a U-shaped, vehicle-fixed rail and a sled adapted to slide in the rail. The rail has side flanges and a transverse flange and detent openings and comprises at least one pawl and a pin extending perpendicularly to the transverse flange. The pawl is pivotally mounted on the sled by means of the pin and is movable from a neutral position in which displacement of the sled is permitted into a locking position in which the pawl engages one of the side flanges and jams the sled in the rail. The pawl is so eccentrically and pivotally mounted on the sled that, in response to a downwardly directed acceleration, the pawl able to pivot out of the neutral position into the locking position.

Abstract: A means for moving a fitting part with an insertion tongue of a vehicle seat belt from a resting position, suitable for a vehicle occupant getting in and out of the vehicle, into an ergonomically favorable presentation position in which the occupant is easily able to grasp the fitting part, includes a stirrup handle gripping the seat belt, a swivel arm to which the stirrup handle is applied and a drive for moving the swivel arm between the resting position and the presentation position.

Abstract: In a device for height adjustment of a vehicular seat belt fitting a load-supporting guide rail (10) equipped for securing to the vehicle has a plurality of latching members (21) spaced in its longitudinal direction. In this guide rail (10) a carrier (12) is shiftably mounted, to which the seat belt fitting is secured. A latch bar (22) selectively latchable to the latching members (21) in this guide rail is mounted on the carrier. By the actuation of a release member (26) the latch bar (22) is releasable from the corresponding latching member (21). The latch bar (22) is mounted on the carrier (12) so that it can be swivelled about a swivel axis (A) which is at least more or less horizontal and its center of gravity (S) is displaced in the direction of the guide rail (10) relative to a plane (E) oriented parallel to the guide rail (10) and passing through the swivel axis (A).
