    Abstract: Cryptographic key management systems configured to provide key management services for the secure and decentralized control and storage of private cryptographic keys and other information. Asset private keys, seeds, passphrases, and other digitized information may be split into a plurality of subkeys and distributed to a group of people to allow the group to gain control of the asset private key if and when a specified condition has occurred. In some examples, the group of people receive less than a threshold number of the subkeys required to restore the asset private key and one or more of the subkeys required to restore the asset private key are defined as validator subkeys, the validator subkeys separately and securely stored. In some examples, the validator subkeys are encrypted and the encrypted validator subkeys stored on a blockchain platform.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for managing IP assets using distributed ledger technology (DLT). An IP asset management platform or application may obtain one or more files associated with an IP asset, and process the one or more files to create a record on a distributed ledger that is associated with the IP asset, where the processing includes, at least in part, generating a hash from information associated with the one or more files and a timestamp. The IP asset management platform or application may then create the record on the distributed ledger, where the record includes at least the hash and the timestamp, and generate a blockchain certificate. The IP asset management platform or application may verify one or more utility tokens are received prior to processing the one or more files to create the record on the distributed ledger.
