  • Patent number: 6958558
Abstract: An electric motor comprises a stator and a rotor which is rotatably mounted in the stator, the stator having an exciter winding which can be energized via connecting contacts, in a stator housing. The connecting contacts are permanently connected to the stator housing, electrical connecting elements which are accessible from the outside in the radial and axial directions being connected to the connecting contacts.

    Assignee: ZF Lenksysteme GmbH
Inventors: Jürgen Schüle, Thomas Kühnhöfer, Hans Köhnle, Rolf Martin
  • Publication number: 20040240391
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for packet data transmission in a communication system, said packet data comprising a first type of data packet and at least one alternative second type of data packet. According to said method, quality modifications of a transmission channel used as a connection between a data source and data sinks are detected and, according to the detected quality modification, a data packet type of a successive data packet to be transmitted via the transmission channel is selected.

  • Patent number: 6247550
Abstract: In a power steering gear for motor vehicles, a control device (1) is used to control an adjusting element (6) for changing the steering characteristics as a function of the road speed of the motor vehicle. In the process, in addition to the road speed, the chronological change of the road speed, i.e. the acceleration and deceleration, is taken into account when controlling the adjusting element (6). A differentiation element (5) is arranged in the control device (1) parallel with an element (3) for detecting the road speed. Both the clement (3) for detecting the road speed as well as the differentiation element (5) supply their signals to a device (4) for signal processing.

  • Patent number: 5943988
Abstract: In an operating arrangement for a gas change valve of an internal combustion engine including an electromagnetic structure having an armature which is connected to the valve and which forms an operating piston disposed in a cylinder for reciprocating movement therein between an upper end position in which the valve is closed and a lower end position in which the valve is open, at least a first electromagnet is arranged adjacent the lower end position of the armature for retaining the armature when the electromagnet is energized, a spring is provided for biasing the valve to a closed position and electro-pneumatic means are provided for supplying gas under pressure to an operating chamber at one side of the piston for actuating the piston in a valve opening direction.
