  • Patent number: 11463489
Abstract: A real-time collaboration platform can utilize a collaboration application, which is adapted to permit a number of users to communicate with one another in at least one session about a predetermined topic via a network. The real-time collaboration platform can include at least one media server with a selective forwarding unit adapted for selectively forwarding media streams according to a content of a predetermined session. The media server has an interface to a media gateway that is enhanced by a real-time announcement adapter via which interface the media server can be connected to an announcement system with acoustic announcement devices such that the media streams of a predetermined session can be output via the announcement devices.

  • Publication number: 20220277733
Abstract: The present invention relates to a real-time communication and collaboration system (1), which allows a plurality of users in different locations to communicate and collaborate on a project in real time using a communication network. The system can include a conversation unit (2), in which posts (4) and recordings of utterances of the users and corresponding transcripts (6) are stored. A speech act analyzer unit (7) can be adapted to continuously analyze the posts (4) and transcripts (6) for illocutionary forces, and if an illocutionary force is detected, a corresponding statement (8, 8?, 8?, 8??, 8? ?) is creatable. A method of monitoring objectives to be achieved by a plurality of users collaborating on a real-time communication and collaboration platform can include: starting a conversation on the platform (1), searching, in transcribed speech and/or in a post of the user for predetermined keywords or key-phrases for creating a corresponding statement.

  • Patent number: 11388212
Abstract: A telecommunication system and a method for transferring media data from a first client over a QoS-sensitive network to a second client. The system and method can permit media data, which contain a first media type with a first traffic class and a second media type with a second traffic class to be bundled by the first client into second packets. In each second packet, the traffic class for each media type is marked in layer 4 and/or layer 5. The second packets can be transmitted toward the second client. Either before or during the transfer to the network, the second packets can be unbundled using the markings in layer 4 and/or layer 5 and then bundled into first packets, each of which has only one of the traffic classes. At least some of the first packets can then be transmitted over the network to the second client.

  • Patent number: 11349878
Abstract: In a procedure for handling security settings of a mobile end device the operating conditions of the end device are determined. Then minimum security requirements are established according to the operating conditions by evaluating contextual data regarding the operating conditions of the end device. Next it is determined whether the security settings on the end device comply with at a least with the minimum security requirements. Access to applications is allowed or denied according to the security settings on the mobile end device. Should the end device not meet minimum security requirements the user may be prompted to change the security settings on the end device. The method may involve locating the end device and issuing of a warning in the end device does not meet minimum security settings.

  • Patent number: 11112829
Abstract: A docking station and a method for connecting a mobile communication device to an at least partially wire-based communication infrastructure are disclosed. The docking station has a cradle for the storage of the communication device. A detection device detects the presence of the communication device within a selected distance from the docking station and receives authentication information from the communication device. There is also an authentication device for validating the credentials of the communication terminal and for enabling communication with the communications infrastructure on the basis of authentication information. A first interface provides a first wireless communication link with the communication device and a second interface establishes a second wired communication link to the communication infrastructure. A transfer device can switch from the first communication link to the second communication link. A communication system containing the docking station is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20210250329
Abstract: A telecommunications assembly and a method for traversing an application layer gateway firewall during the establishment of an RTC communication connection between an RTC client and an RTC server using a proprietary RTC signalling protocol, wherein the firewall has no specific knowledge of the proprietary RTC signalling protocol. The RTC client and the RTC server can negotiate during the establishment of the RTC communication connection which of the ports of the firewall are required for the data packets to be exchanged via the RTC communication connection, wherein they use at least one standardised message element as a component of the proprietary RTC signalling protocol, with which information relating to the ports to be used can be found. by the firewall.
