  • Patent number: 8247476
Abstract: In order to provide a curable casting compound by means of which plastic molded parts, having a structured surface and improved cleanability, can be produced, it is proposed that the casting compound comprises a binder material and a filler material, wherein the filler material is ca. 40 to ca. 85% by weight of the casting compound, and comprises two or more filler fractions, wherein a first filler fraction consists of solid granular mineral particles, and a second filler fraction consists of dimensionally stable hollow microspheres, and wherein the second filler fraction is ca. 1% by volume or more of the casting compound.

  • Patent number: 6422166
Abstract: In a sewing installation comprising a work piece holder of an outer contour that corresponds to the geometry of the work piece to be fixed thereon, the work piece holder being displaceable relative to a sewing needle via a control unit by the aid of x-y-drive motors, it is provided that a storage medium (chip 28) is disposed on the work piece holder (5, 6, 7), comprising any information necessary for the control of the sewing installation so that the course of the seam is computed and sewn corresponding to the contour of the work piece holder (5, 6, 7), the sewing installation comprising a sensor unit (read head 29) designed for the information to be read out of the storage medium (chip 28) and to be fed to an input of the control unit.

  • Patent number: 5141456
Abstract: A hull for a water vessel which includes an elongated displacement vessel having bow and stern extremities, a major longitudinal and normally horizontal axis, a vertical and normally perpendicular axis, a length of about L along the longitudinal axis, a propeller mechanism near the stern extremity and a guide vane which is located at a distance of between about 1/4 L and 1/2 L (preferably about 1/3 L) ahead of the propeller mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4787326
Abstract: A method for operating a sewing automat with a sewing head with a rotary housing provides a compensation signal for a drive motor, in particular for the x- and y-drive motors of the workpiece holder, respectively, in order to correct errors of stitch length resulting from the superposition of the motion of the rotary housing relative to its drive motions. In order to accomplish this, the method provides the detection of the angular position of the rotary housing from one stitch to the next and the generation of a compensation signal depending on this angle difference.
