  • Publication number: 20140045964
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an adhesive bond between two components, in which an adhesive is used that can be cured with at least two different curing mechanisms. A first curing mechanism here generates less stiffness in the adhesive than at least one second curing mechanism. The layer of adhesive applied to join the components is cured with the first curing mechanism in the region between the components over the entire layer and with the at least second curing mechanism only locally, so that the stiffness of the adhesive layer varies in the region between the components. In like manner, a composite or composite layer can be manufactured with a matrix material, in which the matrix material is varyingly locally cured. The invention also relates to an adhesive or matrix material suitable for the method. The material and accompanying method can be used for many applications.

  • Publication number: 20060039583
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for recording a characteristic of at least one object (28, 56, 68). According to the invention, a) a luminous radiation that is influenced by the object (28, 56, 68) is fed to an image sensor (6), b) at least two different partial images (32, 34, 36, 48, 78, 90, 94, T1, T2) consisting of pixels (26) are read out in succession from the image sensor (A11, A12, A13, A21) and values assigned to the pixels (26) are fed to an evaluation unit (10), c) the respective characteristic (B11, B12, B13, B21) of the object is determined from the values that are assigned to a partial image (32, 34, 36, 48, 78, 90, 94, T1, T2), d) the partial images (32, 34, 36, 48, 78, 90, 94, T1, T2) are combined to form a total image (38), which is output for further processing.

  • Patent number: 6454506
Abstract: An anchor bolt having a substantially cylindrical stem (2), and at least one thread provided on the stem (2) and extending from a free front end of the stem at least over a portion of a longitudinal extent of the stem (2), the thread (6) having a plurality of thread turns (6) having, at least over one/third of the stem (2), a width (b1, b2) which decreases, with an increase of a distance of a respective thread turn (6) from the free front end of the stem (2), so that a distance (x1, x2, x3) between trailing and leading flanks (8, 7) of two following one another thread turns (6) of the thread increases backwards.

  • Patent number: 6450745
Abstract: An expansion dowel has an expansion sleeve (7) insertable into an axially extending dowel body (1) which has a central through opening (2) and a collar (6). The leading end region (3) of the dowel body (1) in the setting direction (S) has an internal thread (8) acting as a load application means, and the oppositely located, trailing end region (4) has at least one axially extending slit (5), and serves to receive the expansion sleeve (7). Due to the fact that there is at least one joint arranged in the leading end region (3) of the dowel body (1) adjoining the internal thread (8), a threaded rod (10) can be inserted up to the desired position in the through opening (2) by a slight axial pressure in the setting direction (S).
