  • Patent number: 4237789
Abstract: A fuze for projectiles having electronic circuitry therein for receiving radiated signals having a fusible link connected to the electronic circuitry for altering the operation of the electronic circuitry and a threshold detector for sensing the rupture of the link to place the fuze in a first mode of operation when the link is ruptured prior to firing of the projectile and in a second mode of operation when the link is ruptured within a predetermined time period subsequent to firing of the projectile.

Date of Patent: December 9, 1980
    Assignee: Motorola, Inc.
Inventors: Juris Stauers, Vincent R. Alfaro
  • Patent number: 4234881
Abstract: Circuitry for indicating the occurrence of a predetermined separation time between adjacent pairs of pulses in a sequence of pulses including a first counter having a first relatively high frequency clock signal applied thereto and the sequence of pulses applied to reset the counter for each pulse, a second counter having a relatively low frequency clock signal applied thereto with the second counter counting the total number of cycles from an initial or starting time, and comparators for comparing the number of cycles in the first counter to the number of cycles in the second counter and providing output signals when the comparison indicates that the separation time between adjacent pairs of pulses is within a predetermined range.

  • Patent number: 4231099
Abstract: A counter is provided to count pulses applied thereto, with the output of the counter being applied to decode circuitry which operates selection or switching circuits to connect a plurality of pulse sources, each at a different repetition rate or frequency, to the counter in a predetermined sequence and at the occurrence of predetermined counts in said counter. The desired function of time being generated is represented by the magnitude of the digital binary number in the counter.
