  • Publication number: 20120308398
Abstract: The invention relates to a positioning device for moving a rotor of a wind power station, comprising at least one support means (28) and a drive device (19) via which the torque active in the direction of the rotational axis (10) of the rotor can be produced. Said support means (28) support a rotational part (9) of the wind power station. The positioning device comprises a catch (40) which can be at least partially pivoted by the drive device (19), said pivoting enabling the support means (28) to be guided into or out from the support position. Said catch (40) can be moved into the support position by the drive device (19) such that the parts (9) which rotate move together. The invention also relates to a wind power station comprising said above-described positioning device.

  • Patent number: 7398867
Abstract: Azimuth brake for wind power plants, includes at least two pairs of brake shoes arranged at a common brake disk and each having an actuator associated therewith. Each actuator includes a lever that is pivotable about an axis extending normal to the plane of the brake disk, and a transmission for translating the pivotal movement of the lever into an axial engaging movement of the brake shoes against the brake disk. The levers of at least two actuators are coupled by a common drive mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20050034937
Abstract: Brake, in particular for wind power plants, including a set of brake shoes (16, 18) and an actuator (28) for the brake shoes, in which the actuator (28) acts upon a lever (24) which is pivotable in a plane in parallel with the brake shoes (16, 18) and acts upon the brake shoes (16, 18) through a transmission (22) which translates the pivotal movement into an axial movement.
