  • Patent number: 3976827
Abstract: The disclosed apparatus for evaluation of characteristics of the images of objects consists of a delay unit connected to the output of a video signal discriminator, wherein the square pulses coming from the output of the discriminator of the video signal are delayed for a time necessary for effecting synchronous coincidence of the respective square pulses of the current and delayed lines of the raster of the scanning unit. The apparatus further includes a synchronous coincidence unit and a synchronous subtraction unit, each one of them being connected by its respective input to the output of the video signal discriminator both directly and through the delay unit. The output of the synchronous subtraction unit is connected to a gate connected to the output of the generator of quantizing pulses.

  • Patent number: 3963991
Abstract: An apparatus for discriminating a peak level of a video signal, comprising a series circuit including a switch means, a discriminator with a video signal input, and at least one video signal peak clamping channel. This channel also comprises a series circuit which includes a coincidence circuit, a pulse counter, and a digital-analog converter, the first input of said coincidence circuit being connected to the output of the discriminator, the second input being connected to the output of said switch means, and the third input being connected to a timing pulse generator. The output of the digital-analog converter is connected to the input of said switch means.

  • Patent number: 3947628
Abstract: A device for selective search of objects using images thereof, comprising a number of units connected in series, viz.: a TV-camera producing video signals of the object's image, including a scanner and a synchronizer and determining the current values of geometric parameters of the object's image; an amplitude selector whose video signal clipping level is adjusted according to the preset level of the brightness and chromaticity of the object's image; a servomechanism controlling displacements of said objects relative to the TV-camera; and an initiating pulse oscillator connected to said servomechanism. According to the invention, the device is provided with a logical unit connected in series between the amplitude selector and the servomechanism and coupled to said initiating pulse oscillator, and with a TV-camera raster reference line sensor connected to said logical unit.
