At least one of the code pixels, disposed in a particular direction from the reference point, emit the infrared light to provide a code pattern having position information.

A transmit power boost can be provided such that the first transmit power level is greater than the second transmit power level. The first transmit power level can correspond to a radiative transmission mode, and the second transmit power level can correspond to a conductive transmission mode.

In the first operation zone, a cooling-initiative simultaneous cooling and heating operation mode is switched to a heating-initiative simultaneous cooling and heating operation mode. In the second operation zone, the cooling-initiative simultaneous cooling and heating operation mode or the heating-initiative simultaneous cooling and heating operation mode, does not switch to different modes. In the third operation zone, the heating-initiative simultaneous cooling and heating operation mode is switched to the cooling-initiative simultaneous cooling and heating operation mode.
