Responsive the proximity being under a threshold and the state of the first transducer being in a first state whilst the second transducer is in a second state, the apparatus causes output of the audio component associated with the second state transducer to be transferred to the third audio transducer whilst continuing to output the audio component associated with the first state transducer to said transducer.
