Patent number: 11943338Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, or computer-readable medium for performing object-level encryption and key rotations is disclosed. A service platform may store data items organized into one or more asset clusters. A first content encryption key may be set as the active encryption key for an asset cluster. The active encryption key may be encrypted using the master encryption key. A first subset of data items may be encrypted using the active encryption key (e.g., the first content encryption key). After the number of data items encrypted using the active encryption key satisfies a threshold value, the first content encryption key may be set as an inactive encryption key and a second content encryption key may be set as the new active encryption key for the asset cluster. A second subset of the plurality of data items may be encrypted using the active encryption key (e.g., the second content encryption key).Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 2021Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Rocky Gray, Jeremy Green, Justin Bachorik, Irakli Nadareishvili

Publication number: 20240007457Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and device embodiments for time-based trust token (TBTT) depreciation. In an example embodiment, a service provider system (e.g., a service provider and API service) may receive a connection request including a demographic attribute associated with a first client account from a partner device, match the demographic attribute to client information associated with the first client account, send the partner device a connection request identifier and a URL including a depreciating token, and authenticate a second client account via a login page associated with the URL.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 5, 2023Publication date: January 4, 2024Applicant: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Justin BACHORIK, Randall RANDALL, Brandee SHIN, Rocky GRAY

Patent number: 11010200Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments for providing finite state machine driven workflows. In an embodiment, a workflow template is defined for a type of task. The workflow template may represent a finite state machine. The workflow template may be linked to an external party and an asset type, which may be stored in a workflow database. An asset may be received from the external party including an external party attribute identifying the external party, an asset type attribute, and an owner attribute. The owner attribute may be associated with an application end user. A determination may be made whether the external party attribute and the asset type attribute of the asset match the external party and the asset type linked to the workflow template. If a match is determined, instances of the task and the one or more actions of the workflow template may be created.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2019Date of Patent: May 18, 2021Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Rocky Gray, Justin Bachorik, Randall Randall
