The tension provided by the tension actuator is overcome when the club shaft is rotated, by proper hand rotation, during a club swing to create a rotational force greater than the tension force, whereby the club head rotates to a rest position—the end of the rotational range of the stop—and the club face makes solid contact with a golf ball.
