Abstract: A cabinet security assembly includes a housing that is mountable to a cabinet door such that the housing is positioned within a cabinet when the cabinet door is closed. A light emitter is coupled to the housing and the light emitter emits light outwardly from the housing when the light emitter is turned on. A receiver is coupled to and extends away from the housing. The receiver is comprised of a translucent material to pass light therethrough. The receiver insertably receives a handle of the cabinet door to transfer the light from the light receiver into the handle for ornamental purposes. A lock is movably coupled to the housing and the lock is actuatable into a locking position to engage the cabinet for locking the cabinet door in a closed position.
