  • Publication number: 20240101406
Abstract: Systems and methods of the invention relate to cleaning a portion of a beverage line of a beverage distribution system based upon a signal received from a remote source. An administrative (also referred to as “admin”) system can manage a cleaning system from a remote location in which a remote signal can drive a cleaning system and at least one or more electric valves within the beverage distribution system. A controller component (local to the beverage distribution system) can receive the remote signal from the admin system, wherein a cleaning system (e.g., via a cleaning line) or a dispensing system (e.g., via a hose) can be selected to enable a cleaning mode or a dispensing mode.

  • Publication number: 20230119340
Abstract: A beverage dispensing unit includes a dispensing valve configured to be fluidly coupled to at least one beverage source, one or more ingredient pumps configured to be fluidly coupled to one or more ingredient sources, a dispensing manifold fluidly coupled to the dispensing valve and the one or more ingredient pumps, and a controller. The controller is configured to receive a recipe from a user, wherein the recipe indicates an amount of each ingredient of one or more ingredient sources. The controller is further configured to operate the one or more ingredient pumps to inject one or more of the ingredients into the dispensing manifold according to the recipe, and open the dispensing valve to allow a volume of beverage from the beverage source to flow through the dispensing manifold. The volume of beverage mixes with the one or more ingredients in the manifold and flushes the ingredients out of the manifold.

  • Patent number: 10796553
Abstract: Systems and methods of the invention relate to methods and systems that collect data regarding a keg or container via a sensor, wherein such data collected is used to glean information regarding the container, the contents of the container, a location of the container, or an environment in which the container resides. The sensor can be affixed to a container which communicates wirelessly with a gateway device and the gateway device communicates such collected data to a track component. The track component can be configured to receive data from the sensor(s) and gateway device(s) and identify conditions to improve the quality of the contents of the container, track a location of the container, and among others.
