  • Publication number: 20250069334
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to providing assisted scene capture for an artificial reality (XR) environment. Some implementations can obtain an XR space model corresponding to a real-world space, including walls, the ceiling, and the floor, using an XR system. Some implementations can then scan the real-world space and display a mesh corresponding to the scanned area overlaid onto a view of the real-world space. Some implementations can perform post-processing on the displayed mesh, which can include A) collapsing variations in the mesh corresponding to the walls, ceiling, or floor onto the XR space model; B) clipping the mesh to the XR space model for open doorways, windows, etc.; C) simplifying the mesh corresponding to the walls, ceiling, or floor; D) determining that the mesh is complete by identifying that a threshold percentage of the XR space model is covered by the mesh; or any combination thereof.

  • Patent number: 12150886
Abstract: Described herein is an oral appliance. The oral appliance includes upper and lower trays that each include at least one axial spring configured to contact a palatal/lingual surface of at least one tooth, where each axial spring is coupled to the respective upper or lower tray, and where each axial spring is configured to produce and transmit intermittent, cyclic forces to the palatal/lingual surface of the tooth to promote palatal and upper/lower jaw development. The upper and lower trays each include an expansion mechanism to enable adjustment of the size of the upper and lower trays to account for palatal expansion and upper and lower jaw development. The oral appliance includes first and second adjustable hinge arms that are removably connected to the upper and lower trays so that the oral appliance advances the mandible to provide temporary relief from sleep disordered breathing, sleep apnea and/or snoring.

  • Publication number: 20240181323
Abstract: A method, system, and apparatus, including a program encoded on computer-readable medium, for interactive training or entertainment. Each of multiple platform components interconnects with at least one other platform component and includes visual indicators, a detector substantially adjacent to each indicator for detecting a proximate game accessory, and a detector microcontroller. A main control unit receives data frames from the detectors and determines a quantity of detectors in an interconnected set of platform components based on data contained in the data frames. A memory stores a plurality of routines. The main control unit is adapted to execute a selected routine based at least in part on the determined quantity of detectors. The selected routine defines a sequence of activation of the indicators in the interconnected set of platform components.

  • Patent number: 10496065
Abstract: A monitoring system for monitoring a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system of a building is provided. The monitoring system includes a monitoring server and a monitoring client. The monitoring server is configured to receive an aggregate current value from a monitoring device, wherein the aggregate current value represents a total current flowing through the HVAC system, determine a commanded operating mode of the HVAC system in response to the aggregate current value, wherein operating modes of the HVAC system include at least one of an idle mode and an ON mode, and analyze a system condition of the HVAC system based on the determined commanded operating mode. The monitoring client is configured to command the monitoring server to execute validation testing based on data received from monitoring the HVAC system, display results of validation testing, display real-time system performance data, and display an alert during a system malfunction.
