  • Publication number: 20240359327
Abstract: A robot is operated to navigate an environment using cameras and map the type, size and location of objects. The system determines the type, size and location of objects and classifies the objects for association with specific containers. For each category of object with a corresponding container, the robot chooses a specific object to pick up in that category, performs path planning and navigates to objects of the category, to either organize or pick up the objects. Actuated pusher arms move other objects out of the way and manipulates the target object onto the front bucket to be carried.

  • Publication number: 20240280059
Abstract: A pneumatic flow control system for an aircraft includes a control system operating and implementing a software program through a digital environment, the software program having one or more rules; a sensor in digital communication with the control system, the sensor to relay engine power data to the control system; an electronically controlled valve in digital communication with the control system, the electronically controlled valve to control an amount of bleed air flowing therethrough; a first rule defining an engine power parameter and a valve position for the electronically controlled valve and using the engine power data relayed from the sensor, receiving data equating to the engine power parameter activates transmitting a command to the electronically controlled valve to adjust to the valve position; and the valve position is set to restrict flow through the valve to below a threshold limit.

  • Publication number: 20240217067
Abstract: A mountable support and vice device for field use in small work areas includes a fastener, which is attached to a first terminus of a rod. The fastener is selectively attachable to an element of a structure, such as a scaffold, to removably attach the rod to the element of the structure. A pipe is nested around the rod so that the pipe is selectively extensible from, and selectively rotatable relative to, the rod. A coupler attached to the pipe and is positioned to selectively couple to the rod so that the pipe is fixedly positioned relative to the rod and the element of the structure. A vice is attached to the pipe proximate to a first end of the pipe and can selectively grip a substrate, such as a pipe elbow. The substrate thus is fixedly positioned and can be manipulated by a user.

  • Patent number: 4802260
Abstract: A crab opener apparatus has a base with a fixed blade attached thereto and a slidable blade slidably mounted to the base and positioned next to the fixed blade in one position so that the two blades are parallel and adjacent to each other. An aperture in the fixed blade has a rod passing therethrough and is fixedly attached to the sliding blade on one end and has a handle attached to the other end. The blades are positioned together so that a crab placed thereon when the handle is hit to slide the slidable blade away from the fixed blade pops the crab shell off.
