  • Publication number: 20150227694
Abstract: A system and method for transferring a record of a previously recorded medical treatment event is described which incorporates a handheld medical event recorder (100), a central computer (2050) for displaying annotated information about the medical treatment event, and an remote computer-readable medium (2020) in communication with the event recorder and the central computer. The intermediate computer-readable medium maybe arranged as a cloud computer server. The central computer displays a video record (2120) and annotations event tree (2110) pertaining to the medical treatment event simultaneously. Optionally, the central computer displays contemporaneous records of the medical treatment event as recorded by ancillary devices.

  • Publication number: 20150213212
Abstract: A handheld medical event recorder (100) is described which incorporates a touch screen display (102) and a video camera (104). The recorder is arranged such that the user may simultaneously capture video and annotate the progress of the medical event. The touch screen display interface simplifies the annotation by the use of intuitive icons and indicators, such that a simple tap of the appropriate icon causes the annotation to be recorded in the recorder memory (110).

  • Patent number: 5951485
Abstract: A method for displaying time-correlated medical event data including the steps of: providing time-correlated event data to a display device; selecting a first event to be displayed; and displaying the first event together with a time-correlated second event on the display device. Another embodiment is a method for displaying time-correlated medical event data including the steps of: manually entering data comprising a first event into a display device; time-correlating the first event with data comprising a second event collected by a medical device; and displaying the first event together with the second event on the display device.
