    Abstract: A pest repeller comprises a pest detector operable to detect the presence of a pest and then to generate an internal trigger signal, a speaker operable to produce ultrasound, and an antenna operable to transmit wirelessly and to receive wirelessly external trigger signals. A controller is configured to receive internal trigger signals from the pest detector and to receive external trigger signals from the antenna. Upon receiving an internal trigger signal, the controller is configured to provide a speaker drive signal to drive the speaker to produce the ultrasound, to generate an external trigger signal and to provide the external trigger signal to the antenna for transmission of the external trigger signal. Upon receiving an external trigger signal, the controller is configured to provide a speaker drive signal to drive the speaker to produce the ultrasound.

    Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to hollow profiles and methods of preparing the same for joining operations. A method herein can include placing a dam within a channel defined by the hollow profile, fitting a die block over an end of the channel, and injecting a flowable composition through an injection port into the channel. Another method can include defining a volume within a first member using at least one flow control device, filling the defined volume with a flowable polymeric composition, allowing the flowable polymeric composition to solidify to form a solid portion in the first member, and mechanically modifying the solid portion to define a joining surface suitable for joining to the second member. Other embodiments are also included herein.

    Abstract: A patient interface structure for delivery of respiratory therapy to a patient include a cushion assembly that has an elastomeric piece with a mouth seal portion configured to seal around the patient's mouth and a nasal seal portion configured to seal against at least an underside of the patient's nose. The cushion assembly also has a cushion clip that is chemically or mechanically bonded to the elastomeric piece and forms at least part of a plenum chamber with the elastomeric piece. The cushion clip is more rigid than the elastomeric piece. A front plate that is more rigid than the elastomeric piece and has a plurality of headgear attachment points is attachable to the cushion clip by way of a snap fit connection. A gas passage extends along a posterior surface of the front plate and includes an inlet opening configured to connect to an air delivery tube or a connector for an air delivery tube.

The thin film is adapted to form at least a bottom interior surface of the water reservoir exposed to the volume of water, and the metal plate is adapted to form a bottom exterior surface of the water reservoir.
