Abstract: A knob for mounting on a control lever includes a knob body and a cavity formed in the knob body extending from a lower end of the knob body having a lower opening. The knob also includes a cantilever arm within the cavity connected to an interior connection portion of the knob body remote from the lower opening and extending substantial parallel to an interior of the knob body to the lower opening. The cantilever arm includes a projection formed on a side of the cantilever arm to engage a connecting portion of the control lever.

Abstract: A marine outboard engine includes an internal combustion engine including at least one fuel injector; a fuel vapor separator including: a separator body, a fuel reservoir defined by the separator body, and a first fuel pump fluidly connected between the fuel reservoir and the fuel injector; a fuel tank; and a second fuel pump fluidly connected between the fuel tank and the fuel vapor separator. The fuel vapor separator includes a heat exchanger disposed in the separator body. The heat exchanger includes at least one fuel channel defined by the heat exchanger body, the at least one fuel channel including: an inlet adapted for receiving fuel from the engine, and an outlet fluidly communicating with the fuel reservoir; and at least one coolant channel defined by the heat exchanger body, the at least one fuel channel and the at least one coolant channel being in thermal communication.

Abstract: The present invention is related to a bypass plunger. The plunger includes a plurality of flow ports, a cage including a seat, a flow restriction member positioned within the cage, a choke passageway extending between the seat and a lower end of the plunger. The cage is located proximate the flow ports. The flow restriction member is movable between a seated position and an unseated position in response to formation contents flowed into the wellbore from a reservoir. The flow restriction member is the unseated position when the plunger descends down a wellbore and is the seated position when the plunger ascends in the wellbore. The flow ports, cage, and choke passageway are in fluid communication when the flow restriction member is in the unseated position. In the seated position, the flow restriction member is in physical contact with the seat. This configuration provides a bypass plunger with controlled descent.

Abstract: A convertible lawnmower is provided. The lawnmower includes a housing and a mulching system. The housing includes a discharge opening. The mulching system includes a mounting ring and a shutter ring. The mounting ring is coupled substantially concentrically to the housing and includes an upper surface, a lower surface, and a sidewall that extends substantially axially therebetween. The sidewall is formed with a retaining groove and at least one installation groove. The retaining groove extends at least partially circumferentially within an inner surface of the sidewall and each installation groove extends axially from the lower surface to the retaining groove. The shutter ring is only coupled to mounting ring via the retaining groove such that the shutter ring is selectively shiftable between a mulching mode and a discharge mode.

Abstract: A consensus-scoring wristband allows the user to track the points scored in a pick-up basketball game. The wristband is similar in structure and function to a sports wristband, but provides a consensus-scoring function. Each user may quickly add points as they are scored to each team's score, such that the score may be easily kept while participating in the game. A mobile application is also provided, enabling the user to transmit and update the score to a smartphone. The application employs consensus-scoring, such that the input from the wristband users may be relied upon as an accurate score for the game.

Abstract: An image processing system transforms content images into the style of another reference style image. For example, the system applies a noise mask to generate noisy versions of the content images. The system then recomposes a content image in the style of a reference image by applying computer models to the noisy version of the content image, which reduces artifacts in the stylized image compared to that of a stylized image generated by applying the computer models to the original content image. When the content images are part of a video sequence, the image processing system may adjust the noise mask applied in a subsequent frame such that it tracks the movement of the client device from the current frame to the subsequent frame. This allows the system to reduce artifacts while stylizing the frames of the video in a consistent manner.

One disclosed example method includes determining a weight of an occupant of a seat of an aircraft, and calculating, using a processor, a stroke load of a seat energy absorber operatively coupled to the seat based on the weight of the occupant. The example method also includes setting the seat energy absorber to the calculated stroke load.

Abstract: Maintaining an operational temperature range of a fuel dispenser component may be accomplished by a variety of systems, devices, and techniques. In one aspect, a fuel dispenser temperature maintenance system includes a centrifugal fan and an airflow separator. The centrifugal fan is detachably mounted to a fuel dispenser and adapted to circulate an airflow from an exterior to an interior of the fuel dispenser; separate the airflow into a conditioning airflow and an ejected airflow; and direct the conditioning airflow directly to a fuel dispenser component. The ejected airflow includes a plurality of particulates. The airflow separator includes a separator inlet adapted to receive the ejected airflow. The airflow separator is adapted to guide the ejected airflow from the separator inlet directly to an exterior of the fuel dispenser through an outlet channel, where the outlet channel is disposed between the airflow separator and the exterior of the fuel dispenser.

Abstract: An algorithm for mapping memory and a method for using a high performance computing (“HPC”) system are disclosed. The algorithm takes into account the number of physical nodes in the HPC system, and the amount of memory in each node. Some of the nodes in the HPC system also include input/output (“I/O”) devices like graphics cards and non-volatile storage interfaces that have on-board memory; the algorithm also accounts for the number of such nodes and the amount of I/O memory they each contain. The algorithm maximizes certain parameters in priority order, including the number of mapped nodes, the number of mapped I/O nodes, the amount of mapped I/O memory, and the total amount of mapped memory.
