    Abstract: The present invention relates to method of facilitating micro-transaction payments. The method includes the steps of receiving a payee identifier at a device; and actuating payment of a payment amount to the payee using the payee identifier in response to a first action by a user at the device. The payment amount is predefined by the user prior to receipt of the payee identifier by the device. A system for facilitating micro-transaction payments is also disclosed.
