  • Patent number: 11704783
Abstract: A method for processing a plurality of radiation protective garments includes receiving a plurality of radiation protective garments from a customer, scanning an identification tag of each received radiation protective garment to identify electronic identification data of each radiation protective garment, and automatically identifying a subset of the radiation protective garments that require performance testing by using the identification data to access a file history of each scanned radiation protective garment, the file history including a performance testing schedule. The method further includes using an x-ray scanning system to scan the subset of the radiation protective garments and to generate x-ray image data, automatically updating the file histories of the subset of the radiation protective garments to include the corresponding x-ray image data, and identifying defects in the corresponding radiation protective garment based on the x-ray image data.

  • Patent number: 11666278
Abstract: An athletic wear includes at least one of an athlete garment, a helmet, a glove, a wristband, a headband, a mouth guard, and a pad. A plurality of sensors and at least one camera are integrated into the at least one of the athlete garment, the helmet, the glove, the wristband, the headband, the mouth guard, and the pad. A processor is in signal communication with the plurality of sensors and the at least one camera for receiving, analyzing, and transmitting data signals obtained by the plurality of sensors and the at least one camera. The plurality of sensors are configured to obtain a wearer's physiological data, position data and movement data.

  • Publication number: 20110306444
Abstract: The invention relates to a method to determine a goaltending while playing basketball. The method begins with sensing if a vibration, pressure or motion change has occurred within an enhanced ball. The second step is to send data from a sensor packet containing one or more sensors via an RF switch to a backboard sensor having a sensory zone and computer having a processor, memory device and RF switch. The third step measures if the enhanced ball was deflected in a downward trajectory through a program contained within the memory device of the computer. The fourth step is to assess whether the enhanced ball would have gone through a rim of a backboard. The final step is to send an alert through an alert display of a goaltending once the computer confirms the downward trajectory and likelihood the enhanced ball would have gone through the rim.

  • Patent number: 7487081
Abstract: A sentence generating method and apparatus for generating a joke sentence set having a dual meaning. A predetermined word in a selected first idiom is stored in a W list. A word of analogous sound having the pronunciation same as or analogous with the word in the W list and also being of the same word class as the word in the W list is stored in a RW list. It is then checked whether or not the subject word stored in the P list has a semantic relationship with the word of the analogous sound in the RW list. If the result of check is affirmative, a first joke sentence having the subject word in the P list and composed of the subject word of the P list and the first idiom is generated. A second idiom, corresponding to the first idiom, in which the word in the W list is replaced by the word of the analogous sound in the RW list, is generated, and a second joke sentence composed of the subject word of the P list and the second idiom is generated.
