  • Patent number: 11944325
Abstract: A system for robotic surgery makes use of an end-effector which has been configured so that a drill connected thereto is guided in its trajectory and limited in its advancement into an associated anatomical feature by a drill guide. The drill guide may be adjusted manually to engage a corresponding surface of the drill after its advancement by a pre-selected amount. The drill guide likewise includes features to guide the drill during trajectories having oblique angles relative to the surface of the anatomical feature associated with the medical procedure.

  • Publication number: 20240075780
Abstract: A dual trailing link, rear wheel suspension system for a vehicle is described. The trailing links have proximal ends coupled to the vehicle chassis and distal ends coupled to a bracket with a knuckle for the wheel. The distal ends have a larger distance between them than the proximal ends, allowing for an improved instantaneous center, which may be useful for determining lift/squat characteristics. The distal ends may be disposed proximate the knuckle, thereby providing the largest possible knuckle pivot radius, i.e., effective swingarm length, for a predetermined chassis-wheel distance, which provides a smoother, more comfortable riding experience. The disclosed arrangement makes maximum use of the space allotted for the rear suspension system and is suitable for use with an aerodynamic cowling for an energy efficient vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20230306522
Abstract: Various examples are directed to providing portfolio management tools. For example, a system may generate a portfolio management user interface comprising a first table and a first rebalancing button. The first table may comprise an asset class name column; a model portfolio column indicating asset class weights in a model portfolio; a test portfolio column indicating asset class weights in a test portfolio; a modification column indicating modifications to asset class weights; a modified portfolio column indicating asset class weights in a modified portfolio; and a plurality of rows comprising a first row for a first asset class of the asset classes and a second row for a second asset class of the asset classes. The system may receive an indication that the user selected the rebalancing button and generate a first set of modifications to asset class weights to reduce a difference between the test portfolio and the model portfolio.

  • Patent number: 8893874
Abstract: A method and a device for aligning dough pieces on a conveying surface of a conveyor. The device is arranged for performing the following steps: providing at least one dough piece to a supply device arranged above the conveying surface; supplying the dough piece onto the conveying surface which is moving in a conveyance direction, and wherein the dough piece is supplied up-stream of a roller arranged at a distance above the conveying surface; blocking the conveyance of the dough piece by the roller, wherein the roller is driven to rotate in a rotation direction such that a peripheral velocity at a side of the roller facing the conveying surface is substantially opposite to the conveyance direction; temporarily reversing the rotation direction of the roller in order to pass the dough piece underneath the roller; and conveying the dough piece on the conveying surface.
