Publication number: 20170372135Abstract: A computer-implemented method for gathering knowledge within an organization for supporting the preparation, animation, and execution of a collaborative workshop for high speed and efficient document management and labeling. Printed documents are tracked within the system over a specified amount of time to acquire print job information from the jobs printed within an organization. Based upon the documents retrieved, a list of users is determined and invited to review and annotate the list of documents. The list of documents is then narrowed down to an optimized set for ease of labeling and clustering. Provision is made for user-annotation of the classification label associated with the submitted print jobs including a reason for printing the print job. User-annotations are received for at least some of the submitted print jobs. The print jobs may be clustered into clusters based on the print job representations and annotations.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 27, 2016Publication date: December 28, 2017Applicant: Xerox CorporationInventors: Jutta Katharina Willamowski, Jerome Pouyadou, Yves Hoppenot, Matthieu Mazzega, Emmanuel Rado, Asma Bennani, Julien Soler, Michel Langlais, Juan-Pablo Suarez

Patent number: 9477913Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system of differential processing a print job including one or more original documents to render an obfuscated version of the print job. According to an exemplary method, the differential process replaces letters of an original document with randomly selected characters of substantially the same size and location as the original document and objects such as images/graphics are replaced with blurred versions of substantially the same size and locations as the objects in the original document. The differential process creates an obfuscated version of the print job which is illegible and useful for further processing where privacy of documents included in the print job is required.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 2014Date of Patent: October 25, 2016Assignee: Xerox CorporationInventors: Gabriela Csurka, Jerome Pouyadou, Jutta Katharina Willamowski, Yves Hoppenot

Publication number: 20150317568Abstract: A computer implemented method of forming carpools. Lists of participants in a rideshare environment are maintained. The participants are members of a private group and have privileges based on membership. A location of a participant is automatically determined based on a location detection method. A driver from the list of participants is automatically identified based on a current location of the driver. The driver proposes a trip comprising an approximate start time, approximate start location, end location, and number of available seats. Requests for transportation are received from passengers who are participants on the list of participants. For each available seat, the requests for transportation are automatically matched with the trip based on the approximate start time, the approximate start location, or the end location. Only certain passengers are matched with certain drivers. The matching identifies proposed riders.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 30, 2014Publication date: November 5, 2015Applicant: Xerox CorporationInventors: MARIA ANTONIETTA GRASSO, CAROLINE BRUN, JUTTA KATHARINA WILLAMOWSKI, STEFANIA CASTELLANI
