  • Patent number: 10899346
Abstract: A vehicle for estimating a moving path of an object approaching from behind, and determining a probability for entering a rear lane and a probability of collision is provided. The vehicle includes a speed sensor that detects speed information, a direction sensor that detects driving direction information, and a radar that senses an object approaching the vehicle. A controller then estimates a moving path of an object traveling on a rear lane and approaching the vehicle from behind and determines whether the vehicle is able to enter the rear lane, based on the speed information acquired by the speed sensor, the driving direction information acquired by the direction sensor, and data of the object sensed by the radar. Accordingly, the controller detects a probability of collision with the object approaching the vehicle on the rear lane.

  • Publication number: 20200216063
Abstract: A vehicle and a method for performing collision avoidance when a parked vehicle exits while driving in parallel with another vehicle are provided. The vehicle includes a capturer that detects a parking line in which the vehicle is parked and a sensor that detects an obstacle on at least one of a front and rear side of the vehicle and detects a target vehicle approaching from a rear lateral side of the vehicle. A controller determines a driving type of the vehicle based on the parking line information, the obstacle information, and the target vehicle information to determine a risk of collision region of the vehicle based on the driving type. The controller determines an expected collision region between the vehicles within the risk of collision region based on driving information of the vehicles to change the driving control amount of the vehicle according to the expected collision region.

  • Patent number: 10508922
Abstract: A road boundary detection system includes: an optical scanner configured to emit a light to an object to acquire measurement data reflected from the object; and a processor configured to extract a plurality of straight lines in order of a priority on each of the plurality of straight lines when a higher priority is given to a straight line including more of the contact points, based on the measurement data, configured to calculate a score of each straight line by assigning a score to the contact point included in the extracted straight lines and by assigning a score to a non-contact point included in other straight line having the same angle as the contact point, and configured to select a road boundary according to the priority of the calculated score of each straight lines.
