    Abstract: A method of improving the resolution of images from medical imaging devices by removing blurring due to movement of a patient during a scan. The method uses tracking algorithms to extract movement data from a video image of the patient and uses the movement data to correct the scanner date and remove the effects of movement. Also disclosed is a calibration process to calibrate the movement data to the scanner data.
