  • Publication number: 20160373996
Abstract: The disclosure proposes a routing gateway selecting method, a controller and a vehicles network system. The method is adapted to a controller disposed on a fleet of vehicles configured by a plurality of vehicles, and the controller is configured to select a routing gateway among a plurality of gateways for routing an access point (AP). The routing gateway selecting method includes: predicting a bandwidth of each of the gateways; calculating a transmission cost of each of the gateways based on a load condition and the bandwidth of each of the gateways and a hop count between each of the gateways and the AP; and selecting the routing gateway among the gateways for routing the AP according to the transmission cost of each of the gateways.

  • Publication number: 20160135085
Abstract: A compression method featuring dynamic coding for wireless communication in wireless network is used to transmit a packet to clients. An access point (AP) divides a packet into several chunks all having a fixed length, sorts repetition frequencies of all the chunks, and encodes the repeated chunks with Huffman codes. Before transmitting the packet, AP divides the packet into chunks and determines whether there are chunks having been encoded, and transmits the encoded packet and the codes thereof to a specified client and other clients within coverage of transmission. After receiving the encoded packets, the client decodes the encoded packets to recover the original ones. The other clients also store the repeated chunks and the codes thereof The information of the Huffman codes of the repeated chunks needn't be transmitted every time for different clients since other clients may overhear the Huffman codes not intended to send to them.

  • Publication number: 20150103968
Abstract: The present invention discloses a computed tomography (CT) image reconstruction method using two-dimensional images at different angles as well as a two-dimensional virtual matrix on a basis of spherical space, to process projection, comparison, and correction. Thus, it can obtain the tomography within predetermined difference value to reduce computational and storage space. Matching the parameters of energy source and image capturing can further shorten energy radiation on an object's (i.e. a human body) exposure time, in order to reduce radiation effects of energy sources (i.e. as X-rays) of the object (i.e. as a human body).

  • Patent number: 8933792
Abstract: A moving carrier signal transmission method and a signal transmission device using the same are provided. A main moving carrier acquires an identification code of an ambient moving carrier. The main moving carrier adds an identification code of the main moving carrier and the identification code of the ambient moving carrier in a data request and then sends out the data request to the ambient moving carrier according to the identification code of the ambient moving carrier. When the ambient moving carrier obtains the data request, the ambient moving carrier adds the identification code of the main moving carrier in a moving carrier list and transmits the moving carrier list to the main moving carrier.

  • Patent number: 7486951
Abstract: An apparatus dynamically assigns external home agent (HA) for VPNs and a method for the same is proposed. The apparatus establishes VPN between an internal network and at least one external network, whereby a mobile node (MN) can roam in the external network with security. The external HA closest to the MN in the visited external network is selected for mobility management of the MN. The MN only needs to register with the same external HA when roaming in the same external network. The handoff latency and end-to-end latency for a roaming MN, therefore, could be reduced significantly. It will also not reestablish the IPsec tunnel within the same external network.
