  • Patent number: 8267549
Abstract: An illumination device includes a cover, a heat-dissipation module, and a plurality of light emitting units. The heat-dissipation module includes a main body and a mounting plate connected to the main body. The mounting plate is received in the interior of the illumination device. The light emitting units are mounted on the mounting plate and opposite to the cover. Light from the light emitting unit is transmitted through the cover.

  • Publication number: 20110002126
Abstract: A lens for a LED light source includes a first light emitting surface and a light incident surface perpendicular to the optical axis of the lens. The first light emitting surface is a convex surface and opposite to the light incident surface. The lens further includes a second light emitting surface opposite to the light incident surface and adjacent to the first light emitting surface. The thickness between the second light emitting surface and the light incident surface near the optical axis exceeds the thickness between the second light emitting surface and the light incident surface away from the optical axis.

  • Publication number: 20070046926
Abstract: A fingerprint identification assembly includes a laminated lens having a first lens, a second lens and a third lens formed together with the first lens and the second lens, each of the first lens, the second lens and the third lens has a dielectric film coated thereon. At least one illuminator is located at a bottom of the laminated lens and a sensor located under the laminated lens for picking up an image of a fingerprint on top of the laminated lens. The dielectric film of the laminated lens allows light from the at least one illuminator to be partially reflected due to the fingerprint on the laminated lens and partially penetrates through the second lens and the third lens to be picked up by the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20070014441
Abstract: A fingerprint identification assembly includes a body having an objective lens mounted on top of the body for receiving thereon a fingertip and a first reflective lens mounted on a bottom of the body to receive reflected light from the objective lens, a light source emitting light to the first reflective lens and a sensing device integrally formed with the body and having a second reflective lens to receive the reflected light from the first reflective lens and a sensor to receive the reflected light from the second reflective lens so as to compare the received reflected light with information stored inside the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20060250605
Abstract: The present invention provides a kind of compact-thin contact image sensor, particularly a fingerprint optical input apparatus, which can extract fingerprint image with a strip-type sensor. And it can produce fingerprint image with high definition, and shorten its size with the multibend light pipe. In addition, it has an enough guiding length for forming a strip area distributed uniformly, and the light would project on the strip-type fingerprint pressed on a transparent panel from some angle and reflect to the strip-type sensors by total internal reflection. Lastly, the forest fingerprint image would be extracted by moving the finger.
