Abstract: A Record Linkage Production Data Quality (RLPDQ) tool provides an independent record linkage system producing comparative results with a production record linkage system and an efficient arbitration operation to resolve respective confusion matrices for the two systems. The tool can be used for enhancing the output of record linkage engines, for merging different files into a third file containing expanded descriptions of common entities in both files, and for making testable improvements to a record linkage engine.

Abstract: A method for integrated or Web based statistical process control of a data capture/data entry system we call AIMED@Q SPC™ (“Automatic Integration and Management of Enterprise Data Quality—Statistical Process Control”). Test images of machine print, handprint, or cursive writing, created through Digital Test Deck® technology or other methods, are injected into current workflows and keyed by Data Entry operators. Keyer results are quickly and cost-effectively compared to a perfectly known truth file corresponding to the test images. Reporting and analysis may be performed on single events or over time, at single or multiple locations.

Abstract: A stereo still video camera includes two image sensors for generating a pair of video signals corresponding to left and right stereoscopic images as would be seen by a human observer. By recording the video signals as separate fields on concentric tracks on a rotating video disk, the stereo recording is effected with minimal disruption of the existing still video (non-stereo) standard. The pair of video signals are sequentially processed and separately recorded in synchronism with a phase signal derived from the periodic rotation of the disk. The phase signal is similarly used to synchronize the playback of the recorded video signals with a stereo display device.
