  • Publication number: 20230334415
Abstract: A method and system for determining customer-facing inventory for online and offline environments are disclosed. Method includes receiving promise engine data and calculating duration of OOS for each hour of day for each product listing ID of product listing identities (IDs), using timestamps received via promise engine data. Method includes analyzing in-stock of products and appending listings to create single in-stock number at product level and dark store level for day. Method includes determining in-stock waterfall at product level and dark store level for day and each hour, and comparing determined in-stock waterfall with inventory data at product level and dark store level for day and each hour/timestamps in day, to isolate symmetrical issues related to visibility of accurate inventory. The method includes outputting decrease in-sale conversion rate and impact of OOS on order loss for products as customer-facing inventory for online/offline environments when the product is in-stock or OOS.

  • Publication number: 20160050256
Abstract: A server chassis includes a server, a chassis management controller, and a local interface card. The server includes a controller that is configured to provide a remote user with access to a controller communication portal of the server via a remote access controller graphical user interface, and to send a message from the controller communication portal to a chassis management controller. The chassis management controller is configured to receive the message, to determine that the message is for a local interface card, and to send the message to the local interface card. The local interface card is configured to display the message on a screen connected to the local interface card, to detect a communication request, to display a communication interface at the screen, to receive a reply message via the communication interface, and to send the reply message to the chassis management controller.

  • Patent number: 9210316
Abstract: The embodiments herein provide a system and method for detecting and capturing a focused image. The system comprises of an image capturing unit, edge detection unit and a focusing unit. The image capturing unit obtains plurality of images sequentially. The edge detection unit identifies region of interest in each of the obtained images and calculates edge strength value for the identified regions. The edge detection unit determines peak edge value from the edge strength values. The edge strength value quantifies degree of focus in the identified region. If the identified region is more focused, the number of edges is relatively more when compared with out-of-focus region. The peak edge value indicates that the identified region is well focused. The focusing unit causes the image capturing unit to capture focused image when the edge strength value reaches a predefined value of the peak edge value.

  • Publication number: 20140066742
Abstract: Non-tactile and non-evasive tonometer utilizing air flow with a definite amount of pressure to the eye and a mechanism to deflate the thin foil set that is placed near to eye ball such that re-bounded air hits on it. The mechanism involves acquiring or capturing then the images of the known pattern marking on thin foils both before and after deflating process due to rebounded air. On evaluating the deformation of the pattern appearing in the images obtained before and after air flow and calibrating the deformation with respect to size, translation, rotation and scaling parameters due the different pressure level that hits the eye ball and that rebounds on to thin foils, we arrive at a scheme of measuring the intraocular pressure of human eye. This intraocular pressure is used as a parameter for the ophthalmologist to diagnose glaucoma impairment of human beings.

  • Patent number: 7890677
Abstract: A local KVM module with an on-screen display interface in which a chassis management controller is included within a list of servers which may be accessed by the local KVM module. The local KVM module includes keyboard, mouse and video connectors as well as a tiering network connector. When accessing the local KVM module, the CMC is presented as any other blade server, but with the name Chassis Management Controller (CMC). When a user selects the CMC module from the onscreen display, the user is presented with a text console, where the user can login to a text terminal interface of the CMC module. The text interface can be implemented as for example, a serial connection via a local area network (LAN) or through a tiny telnet client via a chassis private network.

  • Patent number: 7581133
Abstract: An information management system is disclosed and can include a server chassis having a chassis control panel. The chassis control panel can include a real time clock. Further, the system can include a chassis management controller connected to the chassis control panel. The chassis management controller can include logic to determine whether the chassis management controller is active and logic to read a time from the real time clock when the chassis management controller is active. The system can also include a chassis device removably engaged with the server chassis. The chassis device can include logic to load a time protocol client when the chassis device boots before chassis device is fully booted and to retrieve the time from the time protocol server within the chassis management controller. Accordingly, the chassis device can detect when an event occurs and time stamp the event before the chassis device fully boots.
