  • Patent number: 11226346
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for calibrating a photometer in an in-vitro diagnostics analyzer includes generating a cuvette map of a reaction ring identifying a plurality of cuvette locations. The cuvette map is used to identify a plurality of reference measurement areas between the plurality of cuvette locations. A plurality of reference measurements are acquired in the reference measurement areas using the photometer. The photometer is automatically calibrated based on a comparison of the reference measurements to a predetermined standard setup of the photometer.

  • Publication number: 20210270766
Abstract: An electrochemical-sensor structure having a substrate and a nanostmctured-sensing surface that receives a volume of a sample fluid. A sample region of the electrochemical-sensor structure for receiving the sample fluid volume is sized such that the volume of the fluid is sufficient to operatively cover a portion of the sample region of the electrochemical-sensor structure including the nanostructured-sensing surface. The electrochemical-sensor structure is connectable to a portable point-of-care (PoC) device. The PoC device may detect the energy properties of the sample fluid from the sample region of the electrochemical-sensor structure, to produce a signal comprising a fluid reading wherein the fluid reading is related to the energy properties of a biomarker in the sample fluid thereby indicating the presence, the absence, or the quantity of the biomarker in the sample fluid.

  • Patent number: 11047870
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for performing photometric cuvette mapping includes detecting edges associated with a plurality of gaps between a plurality of vessels in a reaction ring during a complete rotation of a reaction ring. Each gap is determined according to an edge detection process which includes identifying: a vessel interior in response to detection of a first predetermined number of photometer device control manager (DCM) measurements below a threshold value; a rising edge in response to detection of a second predetermined number of photometer DCM measurements above the threshold value; and identifying a falling edge in response to detection of a third predetermined number of photometer DCM measurements below the threshold value. The edge detection process further includes recording the rising edge and the falling edge as being indicative of one of the plurality of gaps.

  • Patent number: 9992606
Abstract: Disclosed is a personal device container system. The personal device container system typically includes a processor, a memory, and an access management module stored in the memory. The personal device container system is typically configured to establish network communication between a personal computing device and a provisioning system that validates the identity of the personal computing device and provides a certificate to the personal computing device. Thereafter, the personal computing device requests access to a secured network segment and provides the certificate to the personal device container system. The personal device container system then authenticates the personal computing device's certificate before allowing the personal computing device to communicate with the secured network segment. User credentials associated with a user are authenticated before user-specific content associated with the user is provided to the personal computing device.

  • Publication number: 20170334096
Abstract: An improved device, system, and method to produce a molded component with an undercut includes an insert comprised of a plurality of separate pieces individually removable from the molded component. The pieces are arranged and functionally interlocked in an assembled configuration. Removal of a post member or piece from the insert creates a cavity within the same. Thereafter, one or more of the pieces is slidable, movable, or collapsible into the cavity and subsequently removed from the molded component. The remaining pieces are movable, often sequentially and iteratively, into the cavity and subsequently removed. Each of the pieces can have a different geometry. A plurality of the inserts can arranged into an array and connected to a bottom tool structure. The array of inserts can be configured to produce a molded component have a plurality of cells arranged in a matrix, such as a airflow diverter duct.
