Abstract: The invention provides a method and apparatus for processing and setting individual image as one or more image pages; combining, transferring and dividing image pages into the final finished individual photos or cards. The present invention allows images to be selected and quantities of each image needed to be defined by a user. All images selected, including the number of copies of each image required, are processed to fit the required print size with over print areas on all sides of each image. Images are set up as one or more pages in an order. Adjacent images of a row in each image page are combined with required gap and centered to the page. Combined images are transferred to output by lines or in bands. Prints are divided into final individual photos or cards by separating the image from boarder, over-print, and gap areas.

Abstract: A dummy via design for a dual damascene structure has a dielectric layer on a substrate, a dual damascene structure filled with a conductive material and inlaid in the dielectric layer, and a dummy via structure filled with a non-conductive material and inlaid in the dielectric layer. The dummy via structure has at least two dummy vias filled with the non-conductive material and located adjacent to two sides of the dual damascene structure respectively.

The present invention allows a user to print digital photos, business cards, name cards, ID cards, post cards etc. in-house by using standard page-size or custom-size sheets of paper, in sheets or rolls, with software program product, computer, printer, and cutter. Users prepare the digital photos or a card design. Depending on the size of the photo or card required, the program product automatically generate page-size or custom-size sheet layout so that each photo sheet printed with multiple photos or multiple impressions of the card design, will minimize the paper waist and when individual photos or cards are cut from the photo sheet, they will end up a full-bleed and 100% clean edge photos or cards.

Abstract: The invention provides a method, apparatus, a computer-implemented process, systems and program products for digital photo processing and on-demand photo document printing. The present invention allows a customer to order the photo prints or photo document prints by transferring digital photos or photo documents in electronic formats from the user station to the storage at a photo lab or printing facility. An operator uses the operator station running the program product to compose digital photos and photo documents into one or more photo pages. All processed photo pages of the customer order are sent to one or more desktop printers integrated with a cutting device for imaging on the pre-cut sheet paper. For users in the office or at home, the printing/cutting device accepts page-size (US Letter, A4 etc.) paper.
