  • Publication number: 20250112921
Abstract: Techniques and architecture are described for providing a configurable security posture for a network device using an extended ownership artifact, e.g., an ownership voucher, an ownership certificate, etc., and a security profile mechanism that scales to user needs and desires for security profiles on network devices, i.e., easily and securely customizable on thousands of nodes of a network. The configurable security posture may be achieved using the manufacturer authorized signing authority (MASA) to issue an ownership voucher with a security bit extension to support security profile additions. Using the MASA service, a user may explicitly decide on various security postures of a given network device and may apply that profile across the fixed or modular chassis of a network of network devices.

  • Patent number: 12183270
Abstract: Windows including sunroofs of a car may be enabled to display cinematic video, still pictures, opaque content, or picturesque content such as the countryside to simulate various environments while driving. On the outside of the autonomous vehicle advertising content may be shown on digital displays to pedestrians, bystanders, and other vehicle, autonomous vehicle or semi-autonomous vehicle passengers. Advertising revenue may offset vehicle leasing, maintenance, fuel, and ridesharing costs. Ad networks may send local offers content for presentation on the vehicle, autonomous vehicle or semi-autonomous vehicle's windows. Passengers may order food and interact with ads on the car window. The car windows may be multi-touch enabled to allow for various gestures and interactivity with the vehicle, autonomous vehicle or semi-autonomous vehicle. • Patent number: 12095642
Abstract: A system for facilitating remote reachability checks for a switch. During operation, the system can receive one or more control messages from a management platform. Here, a respective control message can include one or more type-length-value (TLV) data structures. If the system identifies a first TLV data structure associated with validation in a first control message, the system can determine a validating plane based on a value of the first TLV data structure. The system can then validate the first control message at the validating plane. Upon identifying, in a second control message, a second TLV data structure associated with a plurality of parameters for a request in the second control message, the system can determine a subset of active parameters from the plurality of parameters based on an indicator in the second TLV data structure. The system can then process the request based on the subset of active parameters.

  • Publication number: 20240298932
Abstract: Described here are patches and methods for measuring glucose in sweat (and tears and the like). In general, the patches comprise an adhesive layer adapted to bond to skin of an individual, a substrate layer disposed over the adhesive layer and comprising a glucose sensing complex including a chromogen that changes color in the presence of certain concentrations of glucose, and a cover. In typical embodiments, the substrate layer has elements formed to direct and accumulate sweat that migrates from the skin of the individual to the glucose sensing complex. Methods of using the invention can comprise cleaning the skin surface, collecting sweat in a patch comprising this microfluidic constellation of elements, and observing concentrations of glucose collected in the sweat, for example either visually, or by using a smartphone or other computer processing device.
