  • Publication number: 20240178592
Abstract: A compact interposer with shields and multiple electrical contacts held in a housing. Each shield is compact, being disposed in a vertical plane perpendicular to the top and bottom surfaces of the housing and between two adjacent electrical contacts respectively on opposing sides of the shield. The shield includes a plurality of shield contacts extending above the top surface and/or below the bottom surface of the housing. During operation, the shield is configured to reduce crosstalk between high-speed signals carried in the electrical contacts on opposing sides of the shield. Optionally, when in a compressed state, the shield contact may be configured to contact the shield body to shunt a distal end of the shield contact. The shield body and shield contacts may be stamped from the same sheet of metal. The shield contacts may have properties that provide reliable operation of the interposer.

  • Patent number: 11980360
Abstract: Devices, systems and/or methods for repairing soft tissue adjacent a repair site. In one embodiment, a repair device is delivered with a delivery device system configured to move a cartridge with the repair device disposed therein toward an anvil with soft tissue positioned thereon. The delivery device linearly moves the cartridge toward the anvil with a worm drive positioned within a housing by rotating a thumb wheel disposed around the worm drive. Such linear movement is provided with a finger element extending from the worm drive that is configured to cooperate with an internal surface of the thumb wheel. With this arrangement, upon rotating the thumb wheel, the worm drive rotates with the finger element engaged with the internal surface of the thumb wheel to linearly move the cartridge toward the anvil.

  • Publication number: 20240024848
Abstract: Metal organic frameworks are provided that exhibit a reversible phase change from a collapsed state to an expanded state. Due to this material property, these adsorbents exhibit stepped isotherms that have relevance in chemical storage and separations. The metal organic framework is M(LDP), where M is a metal selected from the group of Zn, Fe or Co and L is a ligand selected from the group of 1,4-benzenedipyrazolate (H2BDP), 2,5-pyridinedipyrazolate (H2PyDP), 2,5-pyrimidinedipyrazolate (H2PymDP), 2,5-pyrazinedipyrazolate (H2PyzDP), and 3,6-pyridazinedipyrazolate (H2PydDP). The step pressure position in the isotherm was changed by using nitrogen instead of carbon in the ring allowing for tunable aromatic interactions.

  • Patent number: 11858252
Abstract: The invention pertains to a photosensitive element, particularly a photopolymerizable printing form precursor; a method of preparing the photosensitive element to form a printing form for use in relief printing; and, a process of making the photosensitive element. The printing form precursor includes a layer of a photosensitive composition, a digital layer that is adjacent to a side of the photosensitive layer, and a cell pattern layer that is disposed between the photosensitive layer and the digital layer. The cell pattern layer includes a plurality of features in which each feature an area between 5 to 750 square microns and is composed of an ink that is opaque to actinic radiation and transparent to infrared radiation. Since the cell pattern layer is integral with the printing form precursor, digital imaging can occur rapidly with relatively low resolution optics to form a mask without needing to also form a microcell pattern of the digital layer.
