Abstract: A plurality of indicia are downloaded during the rendering of a web page retrieved from a server. Each of the indicia corresponds to a respective one of a plurality of text entries in a database in communication with such server or any other server on the network. A predetermined number of the downloaded indicia are then displayed in a first region of a web page. One of the indicia currently displayed at a selected location within the first region is visually enhanced. Next, the respective one of the text entries corresponding to the indicia that has been enhanced at the selected location in the first region is downloaded and then displayed in a second region of the web page. So that all such indicia are displayed, each one of the indicia currently displayed in the first region is replaced with another one of the indicia not currently displayed in the first region.

Profiles with profile macros are selected and a matrix of fields may be derived from the group(s) and populated. A bulk subset of the matrix may be selected according to search criteria and edits applied to a source dataset selected from the bulk subset to generate a destination dataset, wherein the edits are constrained by the set of associated policies. The invention may be performed over a global electronic network (especially the Internet) in a manner that complies with the effective policies at multiple destination sites.

The reaction chamber is configured for receiving a catalyst from which the carbon nanotubes grow and providing an environment for growing the carbon nanotubes. The evacuation device includes an intake connected with the gas outlet. The evacuation device is configured for reducing an inner pressure in the reaction chamber and inducing the formation of carbon nanotubes with desired tip structures. Methods for synthesizing carbon nanotubes with desired tip structures are also provided.

The jug has an outer receptacle having an outer receptacle wall and a base and an inner receptacle for receiving a cooling agent. The inner receptacle is removably located within the outer receptacle and has an inner receptacle wall together with the outer receptacle wall defining a beverage compartment for receiving the hot beverage to be cooled. A rotational paddle is located within the beverage compartment between the inner and outer receptacle walls for stirring a beverage in the beverage compartment. There may also be a rotational blade within the inner receptacle for agitating the cooling agent.
