Abstract: Light protective additive based on a polybranched organic/inorganic hybrid polymer manufactured by a sol-gel process and method for its manufacture, having a chemical structure: R1-R4 may be hydrogen, unsubstituted saturated or unsaturated C1-C24 alkyl, substituted saturated or unsaturated alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted aryl, halogen, hydroxyl, substituted or unsubstituted amine, aliphatic or aromatic carbonyl, or where R1-R4 are chosen among the condensation products or addition products of one or more types of chemical compositions such as acids, alcohols, phenols, amines, aldehydes, or epoxides.

Abstract: Combination of additives suitable for use in production or preparation of thermoplastics comprising at least one metal comprising compound i) and at least one compound ii) chosen among not sterically hindered, aliphatic amines, oligoamines or polyamines, or a precursor for not sterically hindered, aliphatic amines, oligoamines or polyamines, alternatively also a compound which wholly or partially can be manufactured by condensation of one or more alcohols and/or compounds which can be manufactured by ring-opening addition of epoxide type compounds. Furthermore the invention concerns a method for changing properties of thermoplastics using such a combination as well as the resulting thermoplastics and products based on such thermoplastics.

Abstract: The jaw supporting device for use on a deceased person is a one-piece, U-shaped jaw rest for resting against and gripping around the front of the neck of the deceased person. The U-shaped element has a curved portion at the bottom of the U-shape, with the curved portion having an upper side and a lower side. A jaw rest portion is formed at the upper side of the curved portion for engaging and supporting the jaw of the deceased person when the U-shaped element is positioned against the front of the neck of the deceased person. A chest or collar engaging portion can be formed at the lower side of the curved portion for engaging against the chest or collar bone when the U-shaped element is positioned against the front of the neck of the deceased person.
